Total Pet Figure of 8 Dog Lead - Flat Anti Pull Stop Dogs Pulling – Slip Leads Reflective with Padded Nose Support (180cm)

I’ve ordered this lead as a last resort before considering prong collar. I was desperate. My 8 month old 27kg labrador pulls like an absolute beast to the point that I haven’t taken him out for a few days now. Ive lost my confidence and started to resent him. I’ve tried different leads, collars, front hook harness, nothing worked, he would literally choke himself to death on martingale collar but didn’t stop pulling. I honestly didn’t have any expectations but boy was I wrong. I took few minutes of him trying to shake it off but then after a few little tugs he started walking by my side! Very minimal pulling, each time corrected by a tug. I wasn’t perfect by any means but I finally feel like I can enjoy walking him again. The lead itself is of very good quality, muzzle part is padded and so is the handle, feels very comfortable to hold. Great fit, fully adjustable and looks smart. Fail safe attachment to collar is a good addition, although a bit difficult to put on the lead and there’s no instructions to show you how either. Great for night time walking due to high visibility reflective elements as you can see in my video. So if you’re at the breaking point like I was give this lead a try. I’m so glad I did.

Brought this lead for My Akita Cross German Shepherd ..He is a rescue dog whom wasn’t walked at all. I did however buy a lead and Holti from The a known UK Pet Supplier .. This did help a little but what I did training wise the holti wasn’t helping and my dog was always crawling ar his face and catching his nails in the loops . So whilst scouting for another lead I came across this one and went ahead and purchased after reading fantastic reviews . The lead arrived yesterday and straight away I took my dog for a walk . Wow what a complete difference no more pulling at all and the lead is perfect for big strong dogs . I no longer have to tell my dog to Stop when he pulls as the new lead fits very well and therefore no more saying stop to my dog as he no longer pulls . Highly recommended the design is very good and the lead is slightly longer than his old lead which gives my dog plenty of forward walking to explore. I will still train my dog as this is the perfect lead to get any dog to walk by your side and makes training more manageable You have really good control with the lead and you only just give it a slight tug to pull any dog away from cats and other dogs it has stopped with my dog the launching In all it’s fictional and easy to use and very good functionality

I originally bought a grey lead and really liked the lead and the handle where there is a connection that allows the lead to twist. My dog is black so the silver was quite bright on his nose and so I purchased a black lead. Easy to use and seems comfortable but lacked the handle adaption. Very nice good quality. Fast delivery.

I have used figure of 8 leads for over 10 years occasionally my dog has slipped his lead which was not ideal. I saw this on Amazon last week & ordered it. It’s the best lead ever, very padded for my hand & my dogs nose but also has the clip to attach the lead to my dogs collar so I have peace of mind he will never slip his lead again. Amazing lead for strong dogs that pull excellent quality. This really is the perfect anti-pull lead.

Firstly, the collar attachment is useless, the loop is too small to fit on the size we bought and we did get this product as we wanted this. Second, hubs is back from first walk with our German Shepherd - 10 month female - and although she did walk better, she managed to chew part of it even though it was fitted properly. In essence we cannot use again so a waste if money.

I have already bought the rope type of dog lead in this brand for my Labrador and young Great Dane dogs. These are really good and work and wear well for the Labrador. However, as the My Great Dane reached full height and young adulthood the rope lead type wore down very quickly around the back of the neck. I realised that she had out grown this type of lead and needed a larger and sturdier one. Total Pet had the perfect one for a very large dog. This one. It is flat of more strong nylon type, but padded for comfort. This give it more strength for larger and stronger breed dogs. I also chose the longer lead length to allow her to move away from me to have a good sniff of her surroundings on her walk. The lead handle is very comfortable to hold as it is slightly padded as well. A very good lead for a strong dog and gives me control in walking her , while allowing her to have a comfortable walk. Very pleased with this.

If you have a pooch that pulls and pulls and lacks any kind of reasoning when they're on their way to the park - get one of these - I cannot recommend it enough. Having tried all manner or harnesses, leads, halti's (which got hooked off by her paw and subsequently chewed to bits) I was a bit skeptical when my colleague recommended this style of lead to slow my nearly 40kg GSD down and give my shoulders a rest! This lead arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to give it a test run. She wasn't sure at first, I don't think she realised we were off for a walk, but once outside, the change in her was instant. NO PULLING!! We had about 10 seconds of fuss with a lot of mouthing and her trying to get it off her nose, but I kept walking and didn't give her the opportunity to succeed. Subsequently, she gave up and just walked. Not pull... Walk! I can't believe the difference, she walked all the way by my side calmly and without any fuss. I am a very proud mum and can't thank the designer of this lead enough. Quality is excellent, padded handle and padded part over the nose is a nice touch as won't irritate the dog at all. The stopper to prevent the loops from opening too much is also a useful safety touch. I forgot to fix on the extra strap that attaches separately to the lead and collar as a safety measure but I don't think I'll be needing that at all! Great product Elliott!!

This leash is helping a lot with my very reactive GSD. It came with an attachment you feed the leash through so you can then attach it the dogs collar. Unfortunately the leash cannot be passed through the small loop of the attachment. The picture on Amazon shows it slipped over the leash. If possible can you teach me how?

La correa es decepcionante. Mi perra es de tamaño grande y tira mucho. Esperaba corregir esto pero en cuanto se lo coloco, ella es capaz de quitárselo en 1 segundo con la pata. La pieza de cuero no queda fija por lo que es imposible ajustar la medida. No recomendado para perros grandes al menos

Der absolute Game-Changer für uns. Trotz täglichem Training hat unser pubertärer Neufundländer gezogen wie ein Irrer sobald er irgendwas gesehen hat was ihn interessiert hat. Am Anfang hatte der große Wuschel zwar eein paar Wutanfälle deswegen aber nach kurzer Zeit lief er super entspannt neben uns. Perfekt ❤️
