It's 3am dogs are still barking!!!!!! Does not work on German shepherds or the husky!!! Yes it's pointed the correct way. New batteries, at dog head level, well within 50ft!!! So angry it hasn't worked 1 day yet!! I've tired different spots, different batteries and it's on highest setting. Wasted my money and super annoyed with the dogs.

Cute design and seems pretty durable, I've only had it a week, and it's made of plastic so we will see. My dog is a happy-to-see-you barker. It was really sad, at first, to watch him shy away from people and the house, but ultimately he stopped barking at "new" arrivals (even though all you did was walk from one room to the next). With a verbal command given at the same timing of the sound, he soon related that word to mean No Barking. He is starting to return to his happy greetings, minus the barking. Will recommend this product.

This works like a charm on my dogs, I love that part, but this thing eats batteries. I wish it was rechargeable. Barking is not the only thing that sets it off either so that can be confusing for my dogs. Certain pitches cause it to beep, in turn wasting the battery. Not sure there is really any way around that though. I do love that I can turn it up or down or completely off and that my dogs respond to it. Definitely an effective tool.

I got this to try & get a neighbor's dog to stop barking so much & it seemed to work (at first) but it's constantly being triggered by other sounds which confuses the dog, making it less effective & kills batteries very fast. The manual says they should last 2 months. I couldn't even get 2 weeks! Also, the battery door is hard to get open & even harder to close! It might be more useful if you are trying to train your own dog but to leave outside to try & quiet down a neighbor's dog, it's pretty much useless unless you own a battery company & can get them for free!

My new neighbors dog barks constantly, so I bought this. It did not do a thing. Nothing changed and I have already changed the battery 4 times in less than 2 months. I ended up buying a small remote and they 100% respond to that. This thing is garbage and a waste of money.

The media could not be loaded.  This is so effective and super easy to use. I just put in a 9V battery and, as much as my lil’ muffin wants to bark - even when there are dogs playing within his view on the balcony (this usually sends him up the wall barking), he will only emit a low growl because he doesn’t like the sound of this device. I was getting complaints from my apartment due to his barking at things he sees off the balcony, and now - I don’t have anything to worry about!

This product drains the battery too quickly and doesn’t stop the dogs from barking.

I am not sure there is a more cheaply made product out there. It's made of brittle plastic that may crack if you sneeze the wrong way. The battery door broke right off the bat when I tried putting it back on. I managed to get it closed but after 3 weeks, dogs are still barking. It has an LED to show you something but you really can't tell out in the sun if the thing is working or not. Tossed it in the trash, trying something different. Big waste of money.
