Sally's Cookie Addiction is a great cookbook. The book starts out with lots of information about ingredients, cookie making tips, and more. I have been baking cookies since I was a kid in 4H (lots of years ago). I have learned things to make baking easier. There are recipes and instructions on how to make frosting, icing, and glazes. If you have never baked cookies before, there is so much information in this book to help you get started. For the seasoned baker, there are lots of great recipes to try.

I bought this cookbook since I LOVE baking cookies. I've been using Sally's Baking Addiction recipes from her website with great success, so I purchased this cookbook. And I'm thrilled with it! My plan is to (over time) bake every recipe in the book. I'm enjoying this baking project and with the short time that I've had the book, have already made several different cookies, much to the delight of my friends who get to eat them! Every recipe has thorough instructions, so no guessing necessary. And the photography is fabulous too!

Excellent cookbook

Sally does it again!! Think you have all the cookie recipes you need? Think again!Sally's recipes always turn out and no matter how difficult, Sally makes it accessible. It's like having your best friend cheerfully helping you in the kitchen. Each recipe has lovely photos and my favorite part: a little write-up at the top about what these cookies are all about. I don't bake as much as I'd like to, so I really look at all the details before deciding what to bake - Sally helps me make up my mind every time.The game-changer (for me) in this book is make-ahead instructions for EVERY single cookie! I'm not baking for a crowd, so now I can (easily, without searching for the details on the internet) whip up a whole batch of dough and only bake half (or fewer!) and freeze the rest for: special occasions (I'm going to rock Christmas this year) or when I need a quick bake (hello new neighbors!). My bottom freezer drawer is now a "baked-goods only" area until after the holidays.I would encourage everyone to buy the print version instead of the Kindle (or maybe both?) as it's a beautiful book to hold in your hands and look through. Also, you can add your own notes and ratings to each page as you bake your way through. Got a delightfully perfect bake on that shortbread last time, but can't remember the details two month later? Write it on the page - the recipe might say to bake for 15-17 mins and by the third tray, I've determined 15 mins and 45 seconds to be the golden best and now I'll have that written down for next time! I give each cookie a rating and notes. So far, our favorite has been the Giant M&M's Cookies but none of them have gotten below 5 stars. Cannot wait to bake my way through the rest of the book and reap the rewards come December (and let's be honest, the rest of the year).Get yourself a copy!!

I love baking from scratch. This cook book really is wonderful. She has some insiteful suggestons and the recipes are delicious! I used this one to make my bars and cookies this Christmas(2023). Everyone loved them!

Anything from Sally’s baking addiction is good. Her cookbook was a gift to my son-in-law and he has made some lovely delicious cookies! Highly recommend! Sally has new cookbook coming out soon! Look for it !

No matter if you're an expert or novice baker, Sally's Baking Addiction blog and her cookbooks like "Sally's Cookie Addiction" are for you! With so many amazing recipes, all with color photos, recommendations, tips, and more, you will never be bored in the kitchen. I speak from experience that I always have success with any of Sally's recipes and often refer friends/family to her blog and now her 3 cookbooks.She has a great, creative ideas for cookies in this book, but nothing comes off as too difficult, cumbersome, or not worth the effort. The tips at the beginning are excellent as well for the best and most necessary baking tools, tips for making ahead, basic frostings, and how to stop the dreaded cookie spreading. You can tell Sally really cares about her recipes, tests them until they are perfect, and we are the ones that benefit. I also can highly recommend her other two books, "Sally's Baking Addiction" and "Sally's Candy Addiction".

Excellent cookbook! I have added many recipes on the " to make" list. Ŕecomend the book to all bakers. :-)

Hermoso 😍

I initially bought this book for my mum but I liked it so much, I ordered one for myself too.The biscuits look both yummy and straightforward to make, with a large colour photo for each one and an easy to follow recipe. The ingrediants are in both American cups and grams, so British biscuit fans will have no problem making them too. The chapter featuring biscuits that contain colourful icing and Hundreds and Thousands is particularly lovely ( they're called a different name in the US ) and there's several choc and peanut biscuits which look very mourish.

Love this book! So many great recipes and love cookies so much. Every recipe I have tried comes out perfectly, don't deviate from the recipe given and you will have great results!

Amazing cookies, already made 1/4 of them and not one I didn’t enjoy. Hot cocoa cookie is amazing!!
