These are lovely valences. Good quality sewing with good, thick material. I did use 6 valences to cover my larger window and 2 for the smaller. When measuring, keep in mind you’ll want to bunch them somewhat to get a fuller look so order enough to fit the window. I had to iron them before hanging but they ironed easily. The double material look makes them super cute in my farmhouse kitchen. Even my husband liked them and he usually doesn’t care about our interior decor. He’s an outdoor guy.

These valances are in my family room and they look fantastic.

The review specifically asks about sheerness-I rated 5 stars, but it's because I did not want sheer, and these are not sheer. I did rate craftsmanship a bit lower because although they appear to be well made, sizes are not consistent. I ordered three for my windows in the kitchen. All three were different lengths. I hung the two that were adjacent at slightly different heights to account for length issues. The one that was a full 1.5 inches longer went in the window over the sink, so it looks like I intentionally got a longer valance for that window.
