Ready for Takeoff, Even If Theo Wasn't! ✈️👶
I was genuinely excited to introduce Theo to this airplane footrest, hoping it would make our flight smoother and more comfortable for him. I had envisioned him kicking back, his little feet propped up, and enjoying a movie or napping. However, true to toddler form, Theo decided he wasn't in the mood to use it on our recent flight.Quality and Design:Even if my little one didn't utilize it, I can vouch for the product's quality. The material feels durable, the hammock design is quite clever, and it appears easy to adjust. It’s compact enough to fit in our carry-on without a hitch.Ease of Installation:Setting it up was a breeze. I appreciated that I didn't need to fuss around with complex attachments, especially with the usual airplane cabin hustle and bustle.Potential for Comfort:I can see how this could be a game-changer for many parents. Having a place for toddlers to rest their feet can prevent restlessness, and potentially make for a smoother flying experience for both the child and parents.Value:Considering its build and potential for easing travel discomfort for kids, it's well worth the investment. I’m optimistic about future flights; kids can be unpredictable, so I won’t be surprised if Theo decides it’s his favorite thing next time!In conclusion, while our first attempt didn’t quite go as planned (thanks to Theo's whims!), I'm still glad I have this footrest in our travel arsenal. Every parent knows that with toddlers, it's always good to have options, and I believe this product will come in handy sooner than later.Happy travels to all families out there, and may your little ones find comfort in the skies! ✈️🌤️🌍

Great!
Works great and very sturdy. My daughter is 44lb and it was string enough to hold her and her toy.

Not fancy, but serves its purpose
Update: After using on several more flights, I’ve figured out how to easily secure on the seat side. This means no readjusting inflight. I wouldn’t dare of traveling with my toddler without it now! So nice for him to spread out & not be stuck holding him for naps!!!There are buckles on either end, but neither is labeled for which should be on the seat side/tray table side. You basically figure it out through trial & error.I wish it was designed to stay in place on the seat side better. Worked great for my 21 month old, but my 4 yo knocked it loose pretty quick. It served its purpose & my 21 month old got in a good nap. Folds up small & is light. Not a travel necessity- but if your babes needs to nap in flight- it sure beats holding a hot kid for hours!

Way too small
This was pretty cheaply made and far smaller in reality than I expected. There is no way my toddler could have used this. Save your money and your trouble buying.

Does not work on all airlines - you will have to rig it
It works great if you have the patience to rig it up. We have used this for our 3-year-old on Singapore Air, Alaska Air and United. It did not fit per instructions on any of these airlines because the seats were too thick for the straps. If you're lucky enough to get on the plane and can rush behind your toddler's seat to try and attach it (*IF* it fits) before the passenger for that seat arrives, then this is an excellent product. That has yet to happen for us and we've flown with this 3 times. However, we tied the straps to the seatbelt and it worked enough for our toddler to get some quality naps in. You will have to pull it back a few times as they wiggle and move around in their seat, but their weight will hold it in place, plus it has nice rubber grippers that help with that. Although it didn't work for us, as advertised, with a little creativity we managed to make it work.
