Perfect fit, easy installation
These hatch struts were a snap to install and were a perfect match for the originals on my daughter's 2017 Fiat 500. The hatch now opens easily and stays up as it should.

Very nice improvement over OEM lifters
My 5 year old hatch lifters were not working well and I bumped my head a few times before I finally took action. These new lifters are fantastic! Once I get the hatch up to a certain level, they open it ALL the way, unlike my old hatch lifters. It is so great to not have to worry about the hatch not opening the way it is supposed to. One note, you should have someone help you to hold the hatch up while you change them. Unclipping the first one could cause the hatch to fall, so get that buddy to help hold it while you work.

Actually fixed my hatch issues!
2013 FIAT 500 Pop.Before buying this I was being plagued by what the mechanics said was an electrical issue. My hatch would not open. The mechanism was replaced, but that only lasted a very short while. Meanwhile my hatch struts failed.When I replaced them... surprisingly my Hatch worked perfectly. Apparently the release needs the pressure of the struts to release?!

Fixed the Fiat in a snap.
the directions were a little unclear, one set went right n and the other side needed more muscle. We did get them on without any additional tools or help, but how to attach was not very clear from the instructions. You have to push down the locking clip and then push the socket over the ball joint on the vehicle. It took some pressure for the one side. The other went on with no trouble. (Wish we had done that side first!) glides like the original.

Very easy to install. Just push in and they snap right on! Super easy!

A little bit tricky to install, but work great!
First off, they work great on my 2013 Fiat 500. The hatch opens much better now!I did have an issue with one of them in that the retainer clip slipped inside the ball housing and was a b..ch to get out. It may have been partially my fault, although it was the second one I installed so I should have been an expert having installed the first one perfectly!So just be careful to pull the clip straight up, don't let it rotate off to one side or it may slip inside!
