Kalamera 24 inch Wine Cooler, 37 Bottle - Dual Zone Built-in or Freestanding Fridge with Stainless Steel Reversible Glass Door, for Home, Kitchen or Office

We originally purchased our wine fridge in August of 2018 and used it as a standalone for several years of reliable service. It looked great and maintained temperatures in the separate compartments well. It was a little bit noisy, but nothing that really interferred with TV or conversation (it was in our living room). We recently remodeled our kitchen and created a space to use the fridge as a built in. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks in the new location we noticed that it was running continuously and not cooling. We had a service technician look at it, who determined it was not repairable. Disappointed that we had just created a space for this fridge and now were without one, we first checked with Kalamera to see what options might be availabe. Even though it had been 6 years since our purchase, they offered a 50% discount on a new fridge. We were very pleased with this offer and were happy that we'd be able to keep the same fridge. The new fridge is working great, is much quieter than the original (we have to strain to hear this fridge running), and has all the same great features of the original.

Delivery and installation went very smooth. Very strong packaging for protection. Main concern was noise level since it is near the family room. Fortunately, the unit is very quiet. Like the space proportion for the bottles - racks are easy to pullout. Dual temp is reasonably accurate. The only observation of concern, although a minor concern, is the unit does seem to run for longer periods of time. Unlike our refrigerator which runs in shorter timeframe and then shuts off, the wine cooler seems to run for longer periods of time - although fairly quite - shuts off and then runs again. Perhaps this is to keep a more constant circulation of air for cooling. That said, this seems to be a minor issue and overall, we really like the unit especially at the price and free delivery.

First, it's looks exactly how we expected, very chic and good quality materials. I'm over the moon with it's appearance, otherwise this would be a 2 or 3 star rating. That's because it's actually quite noisy when the compressor/fan is actively cooling-- which seems to happen every 15-20 minutes and lasts for 3 to 5 minutes! It's against an inside wall, only has 4 bottles in it, and we keep our house on the cool side, so I don't think it's being stressed and frankly don't understand why the compressor comes on so frequently. I mean, our regular fridge certainly doesn't make any noise at all, why does this one? In the video, the house is completely silent except for this unit. Although part of me hopes it's a faulty unit, I'm not actually sure it sounds loud or bad enough to indicate something is wrong. I wouldn't have gone with this model had I known the noise level and frequency, especially considering it's in our dining room right behind the living room, and we can clearly here it over the TV. I hope we'll get used to it, but we might end up returning it for a quieter unit. I will update. It's so so pretty though, I wish it were prefect.

This is a perfect wine storage. It’stheperfect size but with enough capacity for the bottles we want to keep. Keeps things cold at the temperature we require.

Nice looking unit, maintains temp fine. Did have a little issue so contacted support, got a response quickly and they were actually really easy to work with. Got the problem fixed and turned out much better than I expected. Really appreciated their efforts.

Bought this fridge in April with the extended warranty. Ice started to build up a few months after. I raised the temperature a few degrees to see if that was the issue. Next morning ice was all gone but smelt really bad. Turned it off to clean drip tray. Turned it back on then it wouldn’t cool down and the smell came back. Talked to Amazon, they said to request replacement through Kalamera as it is under manufacturers warranty and they said they won’t help and to go through Amazon. Now Amazon wants us to go buy a huge box to send the fridge back for a return when a replacement would be much easier.

Perfect size and high quality. Love it

This wine cooler is like most cheaper wine coolers. The rempature is very inaccurate. The wines don't vary that much in temp. The dual zone is kind of a gimmick on this thing. I set the temps as low as possible. 40 for the top and 50 for the bottom. Even with the lowest setting my wine bottle hover around 55 degrees. The bottles on the bottom shelf are around 60 degrees. Now for the good. This thing is very cosmetically pleasing. The LED light is blue and is very bright. The cooler is very quiet and you won't notice it at all. The temperatures (although much higher than they should be) are consistend. So this thing is a mixed bag. I wouldn't store super expensive wines for long periods of time. For wine you plan on drinking in the next year, it is fine. This is the case with most of these cheaper coolers.

Great little fridge. Keeps the temperature constant and stable. Easy to assemble.
