GREAT ADDITION TO MY SONY A7R5

I have had previous third party grips for my Sony cameras but this is by far the best one. The simple feature of not having to turn both shutter button locks on for the grip to work is amazing it’s all done by the main switch on the body ! Yes the buttons are tactile and not squishy like the a7iv factory but that’s ok it lets you know when your are pressing it with feedback !

I recently got a new A7R5 Sony camera. The reports have been coming out that there is a defect in the fit of the Sony battery grip, it has gaps and does not fit properly. I certainly had no intention of spending the $350 for that part anyway, but was quite put off by the fact Sony didn't do their engineering homework making sure that the grip used also for the A7RIV would fit. I came upon several 3rd party options but had prior experience with Neewer product which was always better than the competition. So I dove in hoping their version would be a good fit. I saw some videos that weren't terribly complementary so was concerned. I have to say the other reviewers are a bit off base. This grip not only fits like a glove, superb tight fit NO gaps. But all the buttons work GREAT! The feel is also very good indeed. NO creaks whatsoever which surprised me as it's not magnesium. The battery tray was plenty solid, NOT flimsy as some reviewer stated. I actually prefer the distinct 2 stage shutter button leaving NO doubt when you're focused and then when the shot is taken. All in all, the price is VERY fair. Neewer did a fine job on this and other A7R5 owners who were told to send their camera in and wait an undetermined amount of time to get the entire bottom plate replaced can just take a pass on that and get one of these. A MUCH better option in my opinion.

Encaixe certo na minha Sony, o problema que essa borracha do grip está descolada e o acabamento não é bom.
