I bought one of these when it was called a whale tail for my tri haul many years ago and it made all the difference in the world, now my bass boat 150 hp worked just ok lot of front lift especially when I had four people in the live well is full of fish. I could hardly get it up on plane, put this on my bass boat and it worked just like the old days got up on plane in half the time. I did not lose any speed and it helped a lot with Porpoising. Helps with stability Too, thick heavy duty plastic so not worried about breaking, easy to install, just hate drilling holes in my nice motor but that is part of the install, after looking at and reading reviews of other hydrofoils this one seems to be the best in my opinion , ol faithful way back and today, and ya can’t go wrong for the price, lots of other brands are twice the price and not as sturdy

Does exactly what they state, does kill top end speed a few mph but does everything else great
