Have bought and used these over the last few years to test in here in CO. Some previous reviews said they didn't withstand the elements, well I've had them through all the elements, snow, rain, wind, freezing, heat, etc and they have worked every time, 2 years and counting! Will buy again!

Good lock for the price

My locker at the local gym I frequent got broken into. Some valuable was stolen. I learned my lesson and one solution is to upgrade to this strong, heavy-duty combination lock.The hardened steel shackle design is supposedly sturdy enough and is cut-resistant. I however have no way of verifying that claim. I don’t have a bolt cutter either. But the circular design indeed exposes much less steel material than the regular master locks. When locked in place, it leaves much less material for would-be thieves to access. See my pictures. I don’t know how much more of deterrence that is, but it sure makes it a little bit harder to cut.The thief broke into at least 3 lockers, including mine, and it happens within a very short period of time. With constant foot traffic in and out of the men's locker room, I imagine that person would only have seconds to brake/cut the lockers. So using a “heavy-duty” lock like this helps. I think. I hope.This combo lock looks and feel heavy duty, so I am happy with the purchase. I would recommend this lock over the regular 3 numbers mater locks. I also know there is no lock that’s 100% safe, so I learned to simplify items I carry and above all, don’t put valuables inside any publicly shared lockers!

These locks work great. I got tired of having to cut off the old keyed locks because we would misplace our keys all the time. This set completely solved my problem and they are much better than the ones at the storage places.

Worst lock I've ever tried to use. It closed fine, but trying to open it was so difficult. Applying what should be unnecessary force still didn't open it, then the top piece fell off and it was even harder to open without being able to get leverage on it, just a tiny metal nub remained to push against. . I cut myself trying to pry open the lock with that. Finally I was able to pry it open with another tool. 95 degrees and sun and wrestling with this thing for 15 minutes really angered me.

I bought this to secure our dumpster area at work and it's worked perfectly. Its already held up to rain and a truck backing into it and still works great. The unlock mechanism is really easy to slide and setting up your own code is super easy as well! It seems very study so I expect it to last a while. I would definitely recommend this for outdoor use.

Seem to be very good quality. They haven't been out in the weather very long but seem like they will stand up well. They come with easy to understand instructions on how to set/change the combo. Lock mechanism works smoothly and easy to operate. I feel good about these. Time will tell. I will buy again and would definitely recommend. I think they are a good tamper resistant design as well.

It’s a good lock, we bought it in a year ago and the lock has now started to rust. For us it was just in time because we are no longer using the unit but it was good enough for what we needed. The lock is easy to remove and use. You can set your own pin to it!
