I love the way this film looks when the light hits it. We redecorated my daughters room with a loft bed that sits right in front of her windows. This film provides enough coverage for privacy while allowing the natural light to still illuminate under the loft. The beautiful light play is somewhat reminiscent of upcycled CD art which works well in bringing her room together with the CD Mosaic Dragon we made for her wall. The windows now look very elegant, and fit nicely with her transition from little girl room to teen/young adult room. I bought some for my bedroom windows as well, her windows face east and get light most of the day while mine face west and only get evening sun though so I'm hoping the light play will still be good in my room too... if not I may have to update this review.The film itself is thicker than I had expected (in comparison to some other window films I've used elsewhere in my home) which I think is great for durability. I can't really attest to whether it blocks out much UV rays. Even windows themselves filter out some UV rays though so I would imagine this does block some UV rays as advertised but how much, I don't know.It is fairly easy to install, pretty much the same as any other non-adhesive window film. However, I did have one issue with it. One of my windows the bottom edge of the film curls up. No matter what I do it continues to curl up away from the window. I've instaled non-adhesive film before, none of the edges seem to be binding, the window was cleaned many times before application so there is nothing like dust or oils that would be responsible for poor adhesion. I've used the same process on all eight window sections but just the one section keeps doing this. I almost gave it only 4 stars because of this but I just really love the way the film looks and I can probly use a little adhesive behind just that spot if it keeps bothering me.As a side note I think these would make lovely wings for a fairy costume and if you leave the backing on it's very sturdy feeling. Even without the backing it's pretty thick and durable..

I bought this stuff to help with privacy in my pantry. I have used similar in the past without issues. I read how to install and overall the process was really easy. The instructions say cold weather might affect installation and we are in the 20’s right now with a low in the teens. These two windows were easy. I used a hair dryer on the top edge which was the only spot I seemed to have some difficulty. The one in my daughter’s room kept peeling and falling down while installing. With the hair dryer trick it appears to be staying up. We will see how it holds up the next few days. Overall I am happy with the product. I’m hoping it lasts since it’s not exactly cheap.

I bought this to deture my dogs from staring out the window and barking at every movement. While it's not completely blocking them it has been helping a little.Yes you can see through these at night...I am pretty sure this isn't advertised as 100% blockage.It was pretty easy to install.Yes, it can be messy to install but the soapy water helps it slide around and gets rid of any bubbles when you scrape it and that's what paper towel/towel is for and it's already handy since you are supposed to clean the surface first anyways.I had an issue with the edges not wanting to stick but on the window I installed this on a few days ago I was able to push the edges down (when it was dry), I'm thinking maybe the edges don't like the wet very much but I just pushed them down so we will see in a few days.Now I just have to find some that measure to my window because I suck at measuring and cutting straight 😅

I love this product. I used it on my front door. I love it. I get a ton compliments. It was super easy to apply and looks amazing!!!

I have a house that’s way too close to me. It is right next to my bedroom window. And I cannot stand not having light. I need light to feel happy. And I cannot live with a shade down my whole life. I’ve been doing it for years and enough is enough.This product is so easy to put on. I have tried a few others and it just doesn’t stick. This one actually sticks and it’s easy to get the backing film off.The directions are simple and clear. What’s the window, peel the backing, and apply the privacy film.I didn’t use any kind of spatula or anything. I literally just used my hands.In terms of privacy, I would say it’s an ideal pattern. Because there are clearer pieces and muted pieces, mixed in here. So you get light but you also get privacy. The bonus is when the sun hits it. It creates a prism effect on your wall which is kind of cool. And the psychedelic part I was mentioning.It gives enough privacy that I can walk by my window without clothes on, and not wonder if they can see me.It allows enough light in so that I don’t get depressed.

First I wish to say that this is not my first window cling application. I have applied others in the past without issue, so with so many great reviews, I was excited to try this one out!Unfortunately, my window cling is not working as beautifully as other reviews- it refuses to lay flat on all edges and repeatedly peels/bubbles despite my best efforts. I followed all directions provided, including troubleshooting suggestions, to no avail. Luckily, it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg, but I am disappointed all the same! It does make a lovely light filter- just wished it would stick better on the edges!

Once I figured out to remove the film the installation went fairly quickly! Measure, cut, try on, adjust, wash window, follow instruction about prep and peel the film off and stick to window! Adjust and push air bubbles out. Done! If a corner initially lift after I put a small piece of transparent tape to hold it! Can’t see it anymore! Did two windows and they look great.

Très bon produit. Il colle bien sur la fenetre. Cache bien du dehors. Les couleurs sont belles avec le soleil. J adore !

J'adore les couleurs produites par la lumière extérieur qui vient jouer dedans. C'est un très beau rendu, si ça avait tenu qu'à moi j'en aurais mis vraiment sur tous mes carreaux à cause du vis a vis mais bon, je me suis contentée de ceux de la cuisine et d'une chambre. J'aime vraiment, je conserve toute la lumière extérieur et je suis parfaitement dissimulée aux regards des curieux.

arrivata nei tempi stabiliti, bellissimo disegno e un buon compromesso tra luminosità e privacy... La luce, fattore fondamentale, entra benissimo nella stanza mentre da fuori si intravede (o si capisce) pochissimo di quel che avviene all'interno, il disegno corrisponde alla foto e l'effetto colorato si ottiene una volta applicata la pellicola per reazione alla luce. Per l'installazione ci vuole molta pazienza, la pellicola tende a formare molte bolle d'aria ed è più elastica di quel che si può pensare quindi non bisogna tirarla... ma niente di più difficile di una qualunque pellicola adesiva o elettrostatica in commercio. Unica pecca: la spedizione! il pacco è arrivato leggermente piegato deformando parte della pellicola... anche se una volta applicata non si vede nulla.... ma va da sè che se fosse arrivato ancora più piegato il danno sarebbe stato irreparabile..
