Easy conversion
This is about as easy as it gets if you find yourself needing to knock 24 volts down to 12 volts to run something like a radio, cell phone charger, or light bar. I personally used it in a retired military vehicle to take the 24 volt battery system down to 12 volts to run a cigarette lighter port to power a standalone radio that I had picked up. The terminal labels make this the easiest converter I have seen. No guessing which terminal goes to what. I do wish that the terminals accepted larger gage wire and terminals instead of the tiny ones, but it functions very well for what I needed it for. If you want a simple, direct, and affordable solution, this is your product!

Stable 12VDC output - low current output.
With 20VDC battery input it holds a steady 12VDC output under load. Output slow (1 - 2 seconds) to build to 12VDC. Load current is low. Using on a 12VDC small motor . . . takes 1 - 2 seconds to get up to full rpm but slows significantly under a load. Using 12VDC battery the motor rpm peaks instantly and maintains under load. I was hoping to be able to use my 20 VDC lithium batteries instead of aging and short lived 12VDC NiCad or NiMH batteries. Ah well, another great theory shot down by a gang of facts! This would likely work well with low current requirements like led lights.

Great DC/DC Buck Converter
It works great so I can run a Raspberry Pi off a 12V battery to provide a Stratum 1 clock for my laptop.
