I had a kit of LED panel lights used for video production. Between the light and the stand is a bendy mount to position the light (literally you bend it). After 7 years of use, one of them became loose so I needed a replacement. Took a shot on this product (having bought many other Neweer products) and couldn't be happier. It not only does the job, its stronger and well built wiry thoughtful design. Will soon be buying two more so my whole kit has these.

The media could not be loaded.  As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon.This NEEWER Camera Flash Bracket H-Type Mount with Umbrella Softbox Holder, arrived in a plastic resealable bag inside a sturdy cardboard box, also inside the box is a User Manual and a Customer Service LeafletI ordered this H-Type mount to mount my NEEWER light panel on, I already purchased a Double Female Screw Hole Adapter ¼” to ⅜” so it was just a matter of screwing that on top of the mount and sliding on the light panel, and as you can see from my photo, it worked a treat.I am very new to photography, and am leaning all the time, and when I saw this I knew it would come in very useful.I also knew that it would be of good quality at a reasonable price, as I have purchased several Neewer products in the past few years for my action camera, and the quality just seems to be getting better all the time.I could go through everything that’s in the listings description but I’m sure you have already read it before reading my review, so I won’t repeat it, you can see the unboxing of the bracket in my video, and a photo of it set up holding my light panel. The one thing I didn’t show in my video was that the Double Female Screw Hole Adapter ¼” to ⅜” which comes with the bracket and is housed in the bottom, unscrews and comes out.At the time of writing this review the price is £18.99, but at the moment there is a 20% discount voucher bringing the price down to £15.19, I think this is a bargain, but I think it was also a bargain at the original price for such a quality item.Would I recommend this H-Bracket from NEEWER, absolutely!The squares on the table I use when photographing and videoing items are 1cm squares, you can use them to help you judge the size of items I photograph.I hope you have found this review and video helpful.

This is typical of the Neewer brand and feels a quality item will stopit works, it's stable, and has good adjustment and it is solid.I think that about all I can say about it because it says everything you need to know.

Over the last few years NEEWER have upped their game and consistently produce high quality camera accessories. This umbrella holder is ideal for putting on top of a light stand to hold/angle a small flash, as well as adding light modifiers such as a shoot-through umbrella.

First impression:📦 ♻️ The bracket is in a plain brown cardboard box that is recyclable with a zip lock bag and some instructions.👀 The bracket is a substantial device, if for me a little over weight. The joint in the centre allows it to bend in 10 steps to 90 degrees in either direction. The handle works well to tighten the joint and it is spring-loaded. I noticed that the handle for tightening the joint is loose on the bolt and tightening the hex nut on the end does nothing to adjust this. You don’t get a hex key for this either but let’s face it, we all have many of these lying around, particularly if you are a fan of NEEEWR kit.👀 At either end there is a reversable adapter for ¼“ and 3/8 “ equipment and these are secured by a plastic thumbscrew and a turn bar. There us a tapered hole in the side for an umbrella rod that runs from 11.5mm down to 8mm. The hole looks oval but it is just down to the machining or finishing being a bit rough in this area. The hole also slopes upwards. The threads are firm when tightened down and the plastic thumbscrew works just as well as the turn bar.What I liked:✔️ It is a robust device and I think intended to be mounted almost permanently on a lighting tripod. Once in place I see no reason to remove it at all. It is if anything overbuilt and should last you years.✔️ I like the idea of the reversable ends and although I have a supply of NEEWER adapters, the built-in facility is stronger and means that if you were to use an adapter and pack it down afterwards, it won’t get left behind in the wrong piece of equipment.✔️ The joint is really robust and can take a bit of weight, far more than just mounting a flash. At the very least you can be assured that once tightened down, the joint is not going to move.Anything I didn’t like so much:❌ The handle for the joint does get in the way sometimes. Given that the inside surfaces of the joint are serrated and the mechanism sprung anyway, I think that the handle could be shorter and be as effective. If about 10mm was shaved off it would be fine. Also, anything to reduce the weight would be helpful.❌ The device is heavy. It is designed to be robust but it all mounts on a tiny ¼“ x 20 screw and the contact plate is smaller than the barrel. If you use the ¼” then don’t use the mount at 90 degrees as it sags a lot. I know it is an edge case but I noticed it when I was doing some macro over head shots that needed the camera extended out over the subject and pointing straight down. If you turn it round and adopt the 3/8“ thread instead, it is better.❌ The hole for the umbrella rod is a bit rough where the thread breaks though into the hole and will scratch the rod, at least on the bracket that I have. This is only a minor thing and it can be cleaned up with a file.❌ The two connector ends can swap over for ¼“ and 3/8“ fittings. However, you can’t interchange them, which would have made a lot more sense and would have saved a bit of weight for less reach with one end a bit shorter. You can flip the device over, but a fraction more versatility for little extra thought would be nice.Conclusion:⚖️ I am on the fence with this one. This is an odd-looking bracket and a bit of a miss match of a design. Why there is a simple thumb screw at one end to reverse the coupler socket, and a hefty turn bar at the other to do the same job beats me. It is certainly substantial and therefore robust into the bargain, but it is just too unnecessarily bulky for me. Ce support et simplement parfait ! Il a tout ce qu'il faut pour durer, car il est entièrement construit en métal et ça se sent tout de suite au niveau du poids.Contrairement à d'autres supports que je possède, qui sont eux, en plastiques, je peux lui faire 100% confiance pour y fixer mes Reflex ou caméras Hybrides sans peur que le serrage ne foire, car il est cranté et on a la possibilité de vraiment serrer fort sans que cela n'abîme quoi que ce soit.Il est bien sûr équipé d'un trou pour y insérer un parapluie, mais il incorpore également des Spigots détachables mâle et femelle en 1/4" et 3/8", de quoi pouvoir fixer toute sorte d'accessoires.Bref, enfin un support solide sur lequel je peux compter, je ne peux que le recommander.

Solid construction and great price. Can’t argue with this adapter, I needed if for my light and fits my Manfrotto stand with no issues and I trust it 100%
