So far I really like them. Zero issues for the first couple hundred miles. Very smooth and solid feeling. No play between the axel and bearings/housing. Ratchet works good, no issues so far even on a mid drive ebike.

I was looking for a good pair of hubs with cartridge bearings and nice machining. These fit the bill. I bought the 32 hole black hubs. I don't have them built into wheels yet, but I'm confident they will be a big improvement over the stock "cup and cone" Specialized hubs.

I feel hubs are something that should only be reviewed after several years, because durability is all important. Anyway, I've been using these for several months and all is going great. I have cartridge bearing hubs (Hope & Mavic) on another bike, and these seem just as good, just as smooth. As I said though, this review is somewhat irrelevant unless the hubs run smooth and last for at least 10 years. The Mavic hub I have is from 1989, and the bearings are still like new, so these new hubs have big shoes to fill. Cartridge bearings all the way baby! Here's hoping for many many years of service

My mountain bike hub has gone bad and this set was just what I needed to get back to riding. The hubs smooth rolling and seals appears to keep dirt and debris out well. It may not be that of higher end hubs but it is great as replacement for old or broken ones.
