The Berserker Saga - Books 1-5 (Berserker Romance Saga)

This 1 star is for the first books between Brenna and her two Alphas. If I could give it 4 stars and everything's else in the book 1 star I would. Those are the only ones worth reading in this horrific saga. The author really showed the love and care the two Alphas had for Brenna in the first story.Their story was heartfelt. I dont know what happened to the author during Sabine's story but the content made me feel physically sick. The beatings she took were not normal BDSM beatings. When she found out her sisters were kept in a cage and was understandably upset she was beaten until she was in such horrific pain she couldn't stand it. It was done out if anger not love nor enjoyment. The author should be ashamed of themselves and Amazon should ban this book for disturbing content. I can't even bring myself to read the rest of the book and will be returning it and no longer reading anything by this author that she writes alone.

I really enjoyed the entire boxed set of books in this series. I also loved the fact that this was actually a little different from other 'shifter' stories, and Lee Savino has done a great job of mixing older mythologies and a little magic to create an interesting blend of characters. The stories were addictive!I am keeping an eye out for more by this author, and can honestly say I am becoming a fan!

It all starts when Brenna’s lecherous stepfather sells her to two berserkers. Unable to speak and teased and brutalized for as long as she could remember, her buyers were the first to show her kindness. She wanted to surrender to her feelings and embrace the love she was given but not without making sure her sisters didn’t have to suffer like she had. There was so much world building and Brenna and her mates definitely deserved three books. Next we met Sabine, the fearless healer who was loyal, independent, and completely averse to love and marriage. Next, the ever-dutiful, respectful Muriel. Her love match was different from that of her sisters so far. And Fleur, the smallest and youngest had the biggest surprise of all. It was awesome watching these women come into their power and thrive like they deserved. I truly enjoyed this saga up to now. It’s well written, full of surprises and plot twists, insightful, interesting, engaging, and impossible to put down. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I was curious about the stories of the other sisters that I have to buy the set. Finished it not in one sitting, obviously, but continuously. Have to pick the book when I am free and I couldn't believe it when I reached the end of the book. Can't wait for the next one. I am not usually a fan of ménage but the story works.

I enjoyed this set a lot.The world building is well done, though there is some reliance in later books on the earlier ones so best to read them one after another in order. There is also some backstory in the following books because of this, but it is handled well.There is a lot of internal tension, and even more external tension, which keeps the story moving along well; the characters are well done and consistent; the plots are fairly unique despite the characters being connected; it is interesting that the antagonists become protagonists in later books; these are written by going from the female character POV to the males POVs, and that is handled well in this group.quite a lot of sex, but it is handled extremely well and does not overpower the storyline, which sometimes happens in this genre

I will not go into any details. If you want that, READ THE BOOK!!! I will only tell you that I want my own Berserkers to bond with. Lee Savino is an excellent author and I fully intend to read everything else this author has to offer. Next on my list is the brides and then the babies. I want to experience them the way I've experienced this one. Fully, completely and with utter joy!!! I'm so glad I found Lee Savino and her amazing, brilliant mind!

I loved this series sooooo much. Part historical, part supernatural, part fantasy, part suspense and a whole lot of romance.It was absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad all the 4 sisters are mated and together with the berserkers. That they get to stay together and not torn apart.I love almost all the berserkers, I can't even choose. I don't know how. I love each of them. I love all the sisters too. They're all unique in their own ways. They all have a unique power.I can't wait to see what happens to All the orphans and the Corpse King. He is such bad news. Worse than I thought. I can't wait to read more.

I loved this series so much!! Paranormal, mythical, romantic. The characters and story lines are so intriguing and interesting. So well done. Its almost too much and intricate to explain,but if you want transported to another place snd time, do yourself a favor and get this series! It was well worth my lost sleep to squeeze in reading more!!

All the books in this series are well written with engaging characters, delighted the author has big plans for the continuation of the stories.
