Solid head light. Can turn on either middle or two side lamps. On third click of switch, all lamps are blinking. Brightness is good for me to see objects in the night. Also the battery case has a light which will be turned on together with major lamps.Three different types of charger make it convenient to keep head light useful.

Was charging this headlamp in my car overheated and car caught fire

There are several of these listed that look alike because they are basically the same product under different brand names. Everything about them is the same, down to the packaging materials.This is my third unit, and all continue to work perfectly. The first two I purchased several years ago and the rechargeable batteries are still great. The batteries are replaceable when the time comes.As for the product, it is light enough to not be a bother. The light output is blinding, so needless to say, it is great to work with. I purchased a third unit so that during long stretches of use, I will always have a charged one ready to go with two charging. I purchased a fourth for my gal.What is the catch? I can't find one. It is inexpensive and built very well. They have held up for several years, but it has been used indoors and I am not rough with the units. So for the inexpensive price, you get a lot more than you expect and they just last. So I would strongly recommend it.

Can not recommend. The head strap is not comfortable. The headlamps are very uncomfortable on the forehead due to there not being any padding there to cushion them. The AC power adapter port on the battery charger is loose and out of alignment with the plastic hole on the battery compartment. The back of the battery compartment is warm when it is on the back of your head when the lamps are at full output. There are some QC issues with this product and I can not recommend it. I think since the produce uses generic 18650 UNPROTECTED cells, I am not able to return for a refund.****UPDATE****Customer service for this product understood my concerns with the product and without hesitation issued me a full refund.

Poor quality, battery were used, not new as stated, wall charger missing, the small rubber that protect the charger plug arrived broken. not recommended.

Seems pretty solid, decent adjustability. Takes both hands to move the light vertically, one to hold the forehead plate and one to tilt the light, but that's good, if it only took one it would inevitably end up flopping around. The battery box cover is a rubber cap that snaps over the back of the box, inside the headband so it's against the back of your head providing both some padding and some security preventing the batteries falling out. There's a small split ring connecting it to the box that I could see coming off if you opened and closed it a lot but you won't really need to, the two 18650 batteries should rarely need fiddling with once you peel the protective plastic off them.I'd have liked to see a standard USB Micro plug instead of the barrel plug, but it's not a huge deal, just limits the charging possibilities. I think there are replacements for that size barrel, and it comes with three different versions, a USB computer plug, a wall wart and a car charger.The four modes are middle on, outside off; outside on, middle off, all three on, and all three and the red light strobing. (Unlike some of these, they don't count 'off' as a mode, so it's legitimately four) The red light on the back lights up with the front LEDs, but is more an indicator than anything else, while it would be visible from the back, it's only about 1x2" and not hugely bright. The front LEDs are good, the big one in the center projects a bright spot light, the two outside ones make a wide field of even light. I'd probably never use all three together for the close-up work I bought the light for.Seems a solid, inexpensive light with decently sized batteries. For the limited use I've made of it since I got it a couple of days ago, I'm happy with it; if anything changes, I'll update the review.

This is so bright that it's probably not perfect for every situation. But for people who need lighting for big areas, long distances, or for a weapon to blind a perpetrator this is definitely for you.There's 3 lights with the middle light being the larger and brighter and one smaller on each side of the middle light. You can turn on the middle or turn on all three. It's even got a strobe mode. The light position is adjustable along with adjustments on the outer edges of the unit itself for changing the shape of the projected light. The battery compartment is on the band that will be on the back of your head or hat. The lid for the battery compartment is made entirely of rubber and that's what sits against your head or hat so it's comfortable and won't slide. When turned on the plastic portion of the battery compartment, that faces outward, is partially illuminated. It comes with a standard wall plug, cigarette lighter adapter, and a USB cord for being able to charge the batteries from anywhere.After 2 to 3 weeks of using it several times the 2 lights on the side stopped working. I returned it and am waiting for a new one to be sent. Hopefully, the new one will last a long time and not be that this headlamp is a piece of junk.

My husband hunts a lot and bought this after lots of other lamp purchases. So far it is holding up. He uses it in the Florida rain and has not had a single problem yet. Nice and bright with multiple light settings. Adjustable and simple to use. Not made of cheap material like most lamps out there. Has multiple uses. My husband even uses this when repairing his vehicle. Hands free at its finest. Highly recommend.
