I like it it comes in handy but I need a larger one

I use it a lot, and it is so handy because of the small size.

I purchased the 2.2 lb version and I'm very pleased with this little anvil. The only thing I would point out is that if you intend to use the horn to shape things, you may need to grind down the cast line that runs down the middle of the horn. This was very easy to do and took less than 5 (careful) minutes with a file. Of course, that will remove the paint but a small price to pay to gain use of this feature. Even with that said, I highly recommend this anvil. For the price, it's a great value. I would certainly buy this again.

This gorgeous, hefty slab of blue arrived in one piece, and I've already put it to work smoothing out some dents in various metal odds and ends. Let's be real, though, I mostly bought it for the sheer romantic and nostalgic vibe. Plus, it's blue. Who doesn't love a blue anvil? This is exactly what i was looking. Mounts on the bench top and is perfect for knife building and other small projects that don’t require the use of a full size anvil. I mainly use this for tapping in pins to knife handles…….If you are looking for a small bench top anvil, i recommend checking this one out.

The anvil is solid and a nice size. If you need to hammer on top it gouges easily. The picture is what happened when I flattened some medium hard wire. If you don’t care if it stays smooth go for it.

This little Anvil serves me well for hammering out small shapes in Copper, Brass, Tin, Aluminum and other metals right on my work desk. I mostly work at my desk so I can sit to enjoy making small cups, tea pots etc.etc. It fit me like a glove!

It may be small but it is made strong. I find it good for shaping and working the metal projects into my personal Master Peaces. And it is portable and easy to take anywhere I need.
