Q: Can you use a wide straw?

A wide flexible disposable straw would fit. However, if your straw is a hard plastic or stainless reusable straw, it would not. Hope this helps.

Q: can you drink it without a straw?

Yes. I only use a straw when I’m drinking a cold beverage from it. Mostly I drink hot tea or coffee from it, no straw needed.

Q: Anyone have trouble with coloring peeling off?

Yes. My black one purchased in 2019 has lots of color peeling off. I do wash it in the dishwasher so maybe it just can’t handle that.
