Ravensburger The Christmas Library, 1000pc Jigsaw Puzzle

We really loved this puzzle. I took the time to put it together over the course of three days while I was sick. Then I sectioned it off into 16 sections and put those pieces in baggies, labelled 1-16, starting in the upper left corner, and I took these baggies with me to the family for Christmas. This made it very easy for different people to put a section together without other people messing with it, and it went way faster. It also made it easy to reach since you're not trying to reach across the entire puzzle to place a piece in the top (important for mobility issues). The finished product is beautiful. The books are all extremely interesting. If you don't want to cheat (section it off), it is plenty challenging all mixed up.

A 1000 piece puzzle is daunting but I decided to try, If I was ever going to put a puzzle together in this lifetime I better get started. From the very beginning I found the project to be enjoyable. I believe a great deal of that was because the Ravensburger puzzle pieces are so precise and I loved how they clicked into place. The cardboard they use gives the puzzle vibrant colors which was an added plus. After I finished the puzzle I had planned to give it to a senior organization, I left the puzzle on my table for days just to take occasional looks at my masterpiece and upon reflection I decided to purchase the Ravensburger Puzzle Conservator so I could frame and keep the puzzle. I’ll tell the rest of the story when I finish the project and review the Puzzle Conservator. I have already purchased my next 1000 piece Ravensburger puzzle. Wish me luck.

This was a fun Ravensburger puzzle. It had a poster included but the picture on the box was much larger, so I used that instead of the poster.

A lovely puzzle with the expected Ravensburger quality.

I bought this puzzle a few weeks ago, but had been saving it for Thanksgiving weekend as a fun start to the Christmas season. Ravensburger always makes such high-quality products, and this was no exception. It's always a pleasure to work on such a beautiful puzzle, and I have a feeling this will be a Christmas tradition for many years!
