Ackers 4 Oz Glass Measuring Cup,Borosilicate Shot Glass with V-Shaped Spout-Red Line

I now have all three available colors...white, black and red. I wanted this cup to hold freshly brewed espresso, and I need to see the markings well because I divide the amount into two drinking cups. I first bought the one with white because it looked like the white would show up the best when the measuring cup was full of the dark espresso. It turns out that the markings aren't quite as dark as the photos make it look. It was sort of OK, but not as good as I'd hoped. Later I got the set of two with black and also red markings. Now that I can compare all three, I would say the red markings show up best. The black can't be seen at all with dark liquid in it, although I'm sure it's fine for other liquids. So red is best for espresso, and white is second for my specific needs. I really like the shape and the various measurements on it...oz, ml, tablespoons and teaspoons. The spout pours great, the glass is thick and heavy with a weighted bottom, and it's easy to hold and pour. Perfect!

The pouring spout works well, and the measurements are clearly and darkly marked. You have tablespoons, teaspoons, ounces, and milliliters, which is very handy if you bake with any British cookbooks, and the ounces work well for making cocktails.

Very sturdy thick glass seems unbreakable. Large markings are easy to see and the spout makes it easy to pour, nice measuring glass overall..

There are a sea of measuring glasses to choose from and I had previously bought another but the pouring spout let things drip most of the time so it hit the donate box. That doesn't happen with the Ackers!!! Finally, a Shot Glass Measuring Cup with a deep V pour that stands the non-drip test!! The glass itself is made a bit heavier and feels good in your hand. The markings are clear and plentiful measuring up to 4 oz of liquids! They also make this style that comes with a handle, but we prefer the one without. The only drawback to any of the glass measuring vials is that the markings are printed on the glass instead of being embedded in the glass like Pyrex used to make them..........It's hand wash only! All in all Ackers is the best 4oz. measure we have had. YES, I'd buy it again, especially if I make the mistake and put it in the dishwasher!! Great value, arrived on time with protective packaging.

Happily surprised at the quality and sturdiness of this little measuring glass. Measurements look to have been etched on so hopefully won't wear off like my previous cheaper one. It's also much sturdier and shouldn't crack or break as easily. Finally, love the little pour spout

I make gin and tonics from time to time but I don't have a shot glass. I usually end up with a very strong drink. Using this I can not only get accurate measure of gin but can use to get consistent accurate tonic syrup added to my gin and tonic. It has so many different measures on it that it's quite handy to have around. Heavy and seems well made.

I got this as I need to take a supplement that requires 4 oz. of water to be added and this both measures and is small enough to fit in my purse for on-the-go- use. This works perfectly and I love the little pour spout. It is very sturdy feeling and the various indicated measurements are helpful for baking.
