I was never a fan of the stock made in Mexico string retainers. The $12 I spent was definitely a cosmetic upgrade.

They made tusq style trees out of metal! Looks clean. Functions. Should include spacers. Uber cool

They work great, haven't had any issues with the strings binding. The screw was smaller than the ones on my early 2000s Strats, so it may not be a universal replacement without a bit of extra effort.

These are great! They feel solid and smooth. A great upgrade from the standard Fender trees. Especially easy to swap out unlike the “roller” style tree from Fender because you won’t need to put a guide hole in the headstock. I’ve definitely noticed the difference.

Bastante más bonitos que los usados en las anteriores gamas made in USA, no obstante siguen fabricándolos en nosequé super aleación de metales baratos que da como resultado algo bastante peor que el acero. Por lo que valen y lo que pesan bien podrían estar fabricados en acero inoxidable y, aún así, el coste del material sería una pequeña parte del precio.

I’m not a huge fan of the pressed metal plates for the string tree on some Fender models. For guitars with a single screw and no registration hole, theses are an easy change. Perfect on my 2017 Made In Mexico Telecaster.Fender do an alternative cheaper tree but the cheaper model has the screw hold and a pin, you can chop the pin off though.If you don’t want to drill a hole or modify the part these are a simple fit. The strings are a little higher but doesn’t affect playability.While a little expensive these look great have smoother edges too. 2 in the pack.
