This is a great little set. My 9 year old loved it. I was hesitant about it being a lego block knockoff, but it seems of quality material. he was able to do it by himself.My only gripe is that it will tip over too easily(like another customer reviewed as well) depending on how its controlled.overall, nice and would buy again if other sets were made available.

I collect things of this nature to use as teaching aids with members from our church, I have a maker space I encourage kids and their parents to utilize. on occasion I will get youth and adults that start asking some advanced questions with specific interest so I have things like these along thith Pi kits, arduino kits and similar items to use as the situation arises. This looks like it could work well with the "lego" minded individuals.

I got this STEM Robot for my 10 y.o. granddaughter who has strong mechanical aptitude and just loves project toys of this type.Compared to some of her other STEM toys, this toy appears well made and of quality materials & workmanship. The component pieces are packaged in individually numbered plastic bags and, for the most part, the directions are clear and easy to follow.This project kept my granddaughter busy for an entire rainy afternoon and she is quite proud of the robot that "she built all by herself".The robot has just enough animation to hold your children's interest long after the initial building of the project is complete. We've only used the included remote so I can't comment on the mobile app's functionality at this time.This is a great, fun project to complete with your kids and I would highly recommend it for it's entertainment value alone.

My daughter enjoyed building this STEM robot. It took her a few hours (including meal breaks), but she enjoyed every minute of it and at the end she was very proud of her accomplishment of completing it. She plays with it a lot and constantly brags that she built it herself. Instruction is definitely easy to follow even for an eight year old. One negative is that it falls a lot when controlling it to move, but the blocks stay in tack.

My nephew loves it.Set apart a few hours with the kid to help building it and teach him/her how to use it and/or program it.Instructions are easy to follow, and comes in small labeled packs the same as other from known brands we have done before.Beautifully designed, and quality materials.The only thing feeling a but cheap is the remote control, but probably you will end using a phone or a tablet to controls it.Read the full manual, we did not found easy where to plug the charger without looking to the manual.This is one of those toys that made a kid happy with just see the box, and happier when you spent some time heling assembling and teaching, quality family time here.
