The product has a good flavor and mixes easily with hot water. I mix it at night then refrigerate so it can be chilled when I add my protein powder for my morning shake. Just an FYI, when mixing it's better to stir as shaking will make a mess if in a closed container.

This is the best tasting coconut powder I've tried. I've purchased it several times and I've been sticking with it. I initially tried KOS coconut power and liked it, then tried this one since is cost a bit less. I prefer this one better, but I kept the KOS container and put it in there to keep it more fresh than the bag it comes in..lol This brand smell and taste more like real coconut than KOS.

Maltodextrin has a higher glycemic index (GI) than table sugar. I was really enjoying this until I was reading the label to figure out measurements. Organic Maltodextrin? Coconut Milk combined with plant based ingredients (MALTODEXTRIN). I should have read it better first. They don't have to count it as sugar because it's a starch until your body gets ahold of it.

This stuff is amazing and versatile. I am allergic to wheat and corn. I keep this stuff in my pantry and use it in both dry and liquid form. Liquid-Smoothies and ice cubes Dry-to thicken gravies and add to baking. I like this because I can make it as needed, keeps it fresh and I can vary it's thickness to what I'm making. The taste is delicious, the color is a nice clean white/off white, chef's kiss.., it pairs with chicken and shrimp so well. Fragrant, just so nice.., Highly recommend you give this a try.
