Dimensions 70-08964 Counted Cross Stitch Holiday Mason Jar Ornament Kit, 4pc

I purchased this kit in 2021 and have just finished the last ornament! I was able to do one per year mixed in with being a working and homeschooling mom. It took me until the last ornament to figure out that it would be a lot easier to select the floss if I moved it over to a holder and made a corresponding number code. I had initially hole punched the cardboard holder it came with and was trying to store pieces there. I did run out of two colors near the end, one of the grays and one of the light blues. I supplemented with similar colors that I had but would have preferred not to have run out. Otherwise I did enjoy these and was proud to gift them to family and friends.

I give family and friends canned jams and jellies for Christmas. These ornaments are a great compliment and reminder of this gift giving. The patterns were easy to work. I scanned the patterns, flipped them and worked them again with my stash materials. I whip stitched them together encasing the hanging wires as I went. Only 1 problem was the script on a couple of them had to be worked differently on the reversed sides. But that's just me.

Directions are easily to follow, I enlarge mine in a copy machine to see better

The overall kit is of great quality. The threads and canvas are great. Very good value for the money because you are able to create 4 ornaments. I will be using them as Christmas gift tags for special ones in my life. The reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were no needles. As an all in one kit, there should be needles as stated in the contents of whats in the bag. Thankfully, I had my own needle because I love to cross stitch and embroider. Someone else buying this might not have any. For beginners, this would be a great project!

I personalized it for my goddaughter by changing the word "cozy" to "2nd" and added her name and the year at the bottom. I'm very happy with how it turned out. *Update* I have the second jar finished with personalization. I will continue this with the last two and post pictures of them when they are done. It will be a lovely series of keepsake ornaments!

I love this kit, not only do the ornaments look amazing and just like the pictures it's so fun to make! Each ornament is a decent midsize project that's enjoyable for beginners and advanced stitchers alike. As they're stitched on plastic canvas there's no need for a hoop. This is one of my favorite projects/kits!

There is no way I will get four ornaments out of the one piece of plastic canvas that came with it! I think one is missing!! It’s very cute though!
