Tim – The Official Biography of Avicii: The intimate biography of the iconic European house DJ

Moving autobiographical
I ordered this and read it from start to finish in a day or two, it highlighted the deep struggles Tim faced, clearly from a very early part of his life, he was not cut out for such a shallow self absorbed industry where people seemed really to piggy back of his success, ultimately he travelled to Oman but he was still not right and the outcome we sadly heard he was a very sweet soul and a very talented person he will never ever be forgotten and I will always be sad for him and his dear family Rest well tim…

Heartbreaking book that really makes you reflect
Absolutely heartbreaking story - the background, rise to fame, the gruelling schedule and demands of performing, and the tragedy of dying when he seemingly had turned it all around and gotten to a much better place. We never truly know what is happening inside someone else, do we ...The book is very well-written and thought-provoking - and you won't get it out of your mind easily.

Mans Mosesson needs an award
I have no words for how grateful I am for Mans Mosesson's attention to detail of this biography. The extent of detail of how Tim was feeling was so extensive. The research, the time to understand certain concepts that Tim was interested in, the small elements of conversation that made it feel so heartfelt and genuine. This guy deserves an award for this book. 2 years devoted to this project and I am immensely grateful for your time and care you put into this biography. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You!This book delves very deep into how Tim felt for many years and creates a completely new way of appreciating his work. But outside of that, it makes you appreciate... Tim. The man behind that name Avicii. We share some similarities as people, by no means everything but I could very much relate to Tim. In this book, I felt as if I met him. And that to be honest is better than any song that can be released. The music was not the main part of himself, he was. Meeting him, talking about our similarities, the music we both enjoyed and his many delves into his discussions of space and meditation were fascinating. That is how this book made me feel. Your perspective in this book is Tim's friend, understanding how he feels and listening to his interests. As Vargas and Lagola put it on stage at the Avicii Concert; "We are all friends of Tim".I do hope that more of Tim's music is released as he is just one of the best musicians who ever lived, if not is the best ... But getting to be his friend throughout this book is enough to make me ok if nothing else can be released. Thanks again to Mosesson for this amazing book. You need an award or something, bro.RIP Tim Bergling 1989-Forever

This book is a fantastic lesson about life for anyone who reads it
Wow what a book. What a desperately sad life Tim experienced. Reading this book massively reminded me of Amy Winehouse - being pushed to the absolute limit beyond them enjoying touring to make other people money, using alcohol and drugs to cope with the intense lack of sleep and anxiety, and their managers (her father / Arash) absolutely using them for money and squeezing blood from a stone until they were no more. It’s shocking what this guy dealt with. Where were his PR team advising him to not go on online forums to read comments about his weight and appearance at the height of global stardom? Celebs are strictly told to avoid social media and “never look down” because of miserable trolls. And yet he read through all of it and naturally didn’t cope well with any of it. Why wasn’t his mental health prioritised with therapy and time off when he kept having health scares? Doing 30-40 shows a month globally is absolutely nuts. Why weren’t the brakes applied? This book opens up the reader to so many unanswered questions, and I deeply feel for his family and their loss.I never really followed Tim’s career until his final years but this book is a fantastic insight into how intense the music world can be, and how important it is to prioritise yourself and ESPECIALLY your health, regardless of how young (or famous) you are.

I remember the day he was found dead I couldn’t believe it it reminded me with a jolt the pain of the mind and it’s ability to snap tim was young and talented but in his own words there was not much of the real him left he tried to keep fans happy and make money what he loved wasn’t important no one ever should feel that aloneReach out any of you that is feeling alone and needing help listen to what they are actually sayingBrilliant book

A great book
A great book, honestly better than I thought it would be. Because it gets to the smallest details about Tim's life - both personally & career wise. I'm half way through and I'm loving this book already and can recommend it especially to Tim fans out there who would like to know more about this special, talented and kind man. This will be also the very first book that I finish.

Intimate look into Tim's life
Such a good read. The author did an amazing job researching Tim's life. I couldn't put the book down. It flowed smoothly and offered the right amount of details all the way through. I appreciated the candor and transparency throughout -- it made understanding Tim's passing a little more digestible. One of the greats -- lost too soon

The best book for fans of progressive house
This book is a must-read for every EDM fan. It goes in depth into the creative side and the talent of Avicii, but also deep in the character's difficult lifestyle, which led him to addiction and suicide. Very easy to read and amazing insights on how his famous songs came to life.

Great for fans.
Avicii's life was short but full of interesting stories. Tim was definitely a pioneer on his own that the world should celebrate more. Great read. Highly recommended.

Talks about depression, burnout, Tim's social life, opioid and drinking addiction, his career, family life and much more. It is a book that I recommend mainly for those who are going through difficult times in life like me, it gives you hope and makes us see that there are many other people in these situations and that all problems in life have a solution!"Enjoy success, but not materialistic success" The last message of Tim, 2018.
