Works just like an OEM Version
This is exactly what I needed to charge my 16” HP Omen Gaming Laptop and I take it to go and I have a setup at the house. I was tired of unplugging the charging cable and brick from the setup just to take it with me so I decided to buy another one to have just for my setup and the other to keep in my backpack for when I take it on the go. I needed one that was 230 Watts to Charge my laptop since it is a Gaming Laptop and of course for the plug to fit and thankfully it did and charges my laptop perfectly with no issues so I highly recommend to go with this option

Does not charge...
I bought this item for my laptop because I lost my original charger.After buying I did not use it for a while because I do not use my laptop often.However, after I used it, I can see my laptop turning on but after few hours, I realized it has not been charging at all!I am returning this for this moment and I need to see if I can get right charger this time... My laptop has been out of battery ever since.

Update: After leaving my review the company ordered from reached out and offered to send a replacement. The replacement arrived quickly and has been working flawlessly for several weeks. I wish I wouldn't have gotten a dead one to start with but it happens sometimes, their customer support did a great job making it right.Purchased to have an extra power supply I could leave at my desk setup. It would disconnect intermittently for the first few days, now after about a week it won't work at all. My other power supply still works, definitely an issue with this one. Stay away!

computer is charging now.
it's a normal charger, il see how long it takes, the only reason I gave it only 4 stars is because the charger part has no light on it. the only way you know it's working is the battery icon on the puter. I guess the manufacturers feel that's good enough. I don't.

Perfect fit & function
Apparently these particular chargers were hard to obtain for this latest laptop configuration from HP (Omen 16t-b100 using 230W w/4.5mm tip charger). Tried a large barrel version with a tip adapter but that would not work. These work perfectly and both laptop and user are very happy.

The product failed right after the return window closed!!!
The product failed right after the return window closed. Now even when I plug in the charger, the laptop is still not charging. I tried another charger and the laptop works just fine...
