I like the way this looks, and it works acceptably well. The motion sensing feature is, like many inexpensive lights, not very sensitive or consistent. It's easy to install, I'm satisfied with it for our needs.

My biggest concern was the motion detection. The light is mounted above the main entry way platform. I was worried that it wouldn't pick up things, particularly since the sensor is mounted above the unit and the light, itself, blocks a bit of the area below. As it turns out, it does a great job of sensing motion as people approach the entry even with the walkway a bit below and continues the sensing as they pass through. Another great feature is the auto dimming. It auto dims shortly after turning on, but it brightens up when someone approaches. My last light actually turned off with no motion. That I didn't like. I ended up using a clear "Edison" light similar to the product illustration. It looks great, much better than standard bulb. It does require "dimmable" lights, though, or the light will flash instead of dim.

These lights caught our attention as we were browsing for new outdoor entrances lights. We looked at many sites and found that we could only get them from America and being in Australia, we found we could only buy them through Amazon. Not only were they delivered very quickly, they were easy to install and very beautiful. We have compliments about them all the time and we are absolutely delighted with this purchase. They make the front of our house look beautiful and we could not be happier! They are bright and sparkly and the photos really do not do it justice. Very happy customers!!

The light really looks great, although it really doesn’t put out a lot of illumination. Sturdy metal construction. Mine arrive bent in package but I was able to tweak it back. Based on the construction I would like to see better packaging to protect the unit. They were not cheap, so I have mixed feelings represented in my score.

Our old motion detection outside light died after many years of service. I chose this light as it was dusk to dawn, motion detecting and looked similar to our old one. It came carefully packaged and quickly. It’s very nice quality and my husband had it hooked up in no time. I really like the glass globe as it has little bubbles in it that almost look like rain drops, I think it adds to the look. The motion sensor works great and it really lights up our deck and walkway.
