Wonderful read
Outstanding book about the authors struggle growing up with a mother and grandmother addictive to prescription drugs. You laugh and cry throughout the book! I like the authors writing style! It is easy to read. If you are thinking you’ll read a lot about her uncle Micheal Landon, you have missed the purpose of this book. Michael’s role in the book is to help the author grow up and fill the missing role of a father. I would recommend this book to anyone!

Wonderful, could not put it down
This book is so inspiring. Anyone who has had an drug addiction or family members with a drug addiction needs to read this book. I felt at times when reading this book that I was right there in the story. I loved how the author shared her life and all that she endured dealing with her grandmother and her mother's addiction. I found myself laughing at times, especially some of the stories about her uncle, Michael Landon. Then I cried when reading about the death of her mom. I can't wait to read the second part to her book. This book helped me so much in dealing with my own family members who have addictions. A must read, wonderful story.

Amazing Read with Critical Life Lessons
Received the book in the mail today and completed it tonight because I just couldn’t put it down. Loved everything about this book of strength, weakness, perseverance, never stop trying, never stop believing in the strength of the human spirit to overcome, the importance of positive role models in children’s lives, negative results of prescription drugs supplied by the medical profession and so much more. So many important lessons woven through the pages and written with such honesty and bravery. Christine, Job well done!

Living with addiction.
"My Way to Heaven" is an amazing read! It tells the authentic and truly heartbreaking story of Christine Ferley and her journey of living with her mother's addiction to prescription drugs. It also revolves around her uncle actor Michael Landon who was always there for her. For people living with addiction there is hope in the realization of the power of forgiveness!I highly recommend this book!
