Is it strong enough to hold a microwave?

My guess is "yes:" the description indicates that each shelf will hold 100 lbs, and I've yet to see a kitchen-sized microwave that weighed anything close to that.

Can you buy an extra tier shelf to add to the 4 shelf stand?

I dont know if they sell any separately but you could easily add another shelf or two from a different set since they all have the same fittings. I hope that helpa
