Slow but accurate
I was using the Natural Cycles thermometer (the basic one) and found it was creating a lot of spikes in my graph. With this one my graph is so much better and now I can easily see the switch to higher temperatures after ovulation. Yes, it can be super slow at measuring but I donโt mind it as itโs way more accurate than what I was using before and the light is super useful.

Decent thermometer, but takes a while to give you your reading.
This thermometer is okay, it seems to give me pretty accurate readings to two decimal places which is what I needed. It came with a battery already inside and an additional battery which was unexpected but a nice surprise! I've been using it almost daily for 10 months now, and I'm still on the first battery so the battery usage is very efficient. The only downside with this thermometer is the time it takes to give me a reading. As shown in my video it took 1 minute 10 seconds to give me my reading, however I am not sure if this is a universal thing with basal body thermometers and perhaps because it is reading to 2 decimal places? Either way it's not a major downside, just a minor inconvenience. Overall this thermometer has been good value for money, and the display screen is very clear. I like that it will save my last reading, so I can check it if I need to. It's really easy to use, just click the on button, put it in your mouth and wait for it to beep and flash up with the new temperature reading. I also like that it has a protective cover to help keep the end clean.

Fantastic for menstrual cycle temping!
I own a Daysy but it's not compatible with my phone which means it only gets plugged in to my bf's ipad once a wee - annoying if i'm trying to pinpoint my ovulation day! I use the Flo app so decided for to purchase this thermometer so i can manually enter my temps into this app and still use my Daysy alongside it. Perfectly decent thermometer - gives exactly the same reading as my Daysy does and it stores the last reading which is perfect if you're like me and you temp and doze back off! Gives a nice 2-beep once its finished taking your temperature, comes with a spare battery and only take 70-90 seconds to give you a results (unlike some that are 3minutes! - that's a long time to keep a thermometer in your mouth when you're half asleep!)

Useless! Variable, inaccurate & S.L.O.W....
I'm not using this for ovulation, but I do need an reliable thermometer to take accurate reading 8-12 times throughout the day - unfortunately this is NOT the thermometer to achieve that! I thought that the large screen, backlight, advertised speedy readings & supposed 2 decimal places of accuracy would be ideal for my purposes - but although the screen is large, and the light flashes on when the reading is complete, showing 2 decimal places is no help if they're the completely wrong numbers! It also takes it 2-3 minutes to give the reading! My other thermometer takes only 30 seconds - 1 minute & is also actually accurate. This is useless! I tested it first by taking repeated readings one after the other & found that the results varied by: 0.5-0.8-1.0 and up to 2.0 degrees Celsius. Since there seem to be a lot of good reviews I determined that I must have been unlucky & got a faulty one - so I sent for another. Then I tested the two together, alongside my accurate old thermometer, in a glass of hot (36-38.5C) tap water, and the results were even worse! The first time the two Digital Basal Thermometers with Backlight... varied by 0.3C from each other & were under my accurate old thermometer by 0.4-0.6. I then repeated this 6 times more, & again they varied significantly from each other, & never even agreed with their own previous readings. :=( They were always under my old accurate thermometer's reading - that would have been acceptable if they'd been consistent, as it's the difference between the readings (every 1-2 hours) that's important here. This Digital Basal Thermometer with Backlight is completely unfit for purpose. I tried to contact the Seller to ask for comment, or to try and get an accurate replacement, but the Amazon automated messaging service bot just sent me off to return the item, which is what I'm having to do. On a positive note, it was easy to swap to Celsius from Fahrenheit following the instructions provided by the Seller when I asked, but that's no use when it's completely inaccurate anyway.
