Replaced 15 Year Old Desktop
Before even shipping, the supplier offered me a free upgrade to a XE3-SFF (availability of inventory?) which I gladly agreed to. Purchased to replace my 15 year old Windows 10 computer that originally came with Windows 7 installed. This was a massive (and very useful) re-education! First, I mistakenly thought the "display ports" were HDMI, but not so. But, pleased to find that an adapter cable was supplied to allow me to connect my monitor. While trying to get displays to show as they did on the old PC, I completed an education in resolution. Many apps needed to be installed rather than copied to the Dell, but this was completed with off and on effort for a week. A few more days of testing and the Dell XE3-SFF will replace my aging HP. BTW, this review is being sent from the Dell temporarily set up on the dining room table. First impression: I am very surprised and pleased with the MUCH improved performance of the XE3!

Mostly great buy!
The computer was very easy to set up & get working for us. The only glitch we had was the type of monitor output. I had to buy a couple of 'Display USB' adaptors - D1 tp VGA , which were not readily available here. We got the adaptors & all is well now. We were used to having several internal connections as well to upgrade video cards & add additional memory. The unit has output capability for one additional SSD or HD so we connected a 2TB SSD, which works well. Les & Andrea

Great Refurbished PC's
These two refurbished Dell Optiplex 7060 PCs work GREAT!! When I got them I ran Dell Diagnostics on them and they were Perfect !!

The computer is solid. The OS isn't, but there's an easy fix.
All of the hardware features of this computer are great. The OS, Win 11 Pro, however, is EXTREMELY unstable. Changing the OS to Win 11 Home makes this computer perform at its maximum potential. I use it for video editing and there are no hiccups doing it with Win 11 Home. With Win Pro it couldn't handle mudane tasks. Changing the OS from Pro to Home without losing files and apps is a relatively easy process. There are tutorials on youtube that can walk you through the process. If you're willing to do it, or have someone who can do it for you, then by all means buy this computer.
