Affordable and does the job.
We have runoff from a neighbors property and these sandbags work perfectly to stop the flow! We ordered the sandbags three times, and the third time only 4 (not 5) sandbags were delivered. We easily returned the their order and the replacement order came the very next day, with 5. Very happy with the service.

Durable potato sacks
I bought these to fill with rocks and keep my son’s basketball goal steady. These seem to be durable and of good quality. So far worked perfect.

Solid Sand Bags, Zip Ties Work for Closures Too
These take a couple shovel fulls of gravel or sand and do the job, but note that they're not the plasticky bags but old-school burlap. Classic design and well made.Work for sandbagging or in my case as carry weights. Good stuff.

No way they would ever hold sand.

Burlap Bags! Heavy Duty as Advertised and Less Likely to Slip
It is very sturdy. I tested it by sticking my foot in the bag and try pulling it up. No stretching whatsoever. Very strong, well made burlap sandbags. It is made of burlap or otherwise known as jute fabric, tested by time for use for sandbags or coffee sacks. The seller also sell polyproline bags too - if you do not care, buy burlap one. Jute fabric is fully biodegradable. Poly bag will break into small plastic pieces and stay there forever. Most of us buy sandbags for flood control, as dummy weight or to set up a portable range. Burlap is stronger for UV, but weaker for water (it is still pretty strong, but in comparison to poly). If you are using for flood control - you will not be using the bag for more than one month, so both burlap and poly is ok. If you are using as weight or range - you can be using the bags longer than a month, so UV becomes a bigger issue, I recommend burlap. Another advantage of burlap is the grip - grips so much better.Great emergency preparation Item. Useless without a shovel, though.

Burlap may not be the best choice
I was interested in these sandbags because they're burlap and I hoped that would be a little more durable than the typical tarp-like sandbags. They may be somewhat more durable, but there are some cons too. The weave of the burlap is loose and fine sand goes through it. The bags are sewn oddly, with a swooping curve on one side, so the bottom of the sandbags aren't squared off on both sides. I really wanted to like these sandbags, and while they do work, I'm just not very happy with them.

Using them to hold down things
I get high wind in my area and needed something that is easy to move, easy to use and heavy. These bags are just that. Once filled they have a good weight to them and they will hold down whatever you attach them to. They are easy to fill, they are pretty durable and I have had no issues with them since I started using them. If you are looking for good sandbags check these out. I have really nothing negative to say about them. They are sandbags, they hold sand and hold things down.
