Works well
I bought this to drill dowel holes for 4 U-shaped shelves (3 pieces, each) for a closet turned into a kitchen pantry. I knew the dowels would not be strong enough without a bracket on each side, but I needed a way to align the shelves before filling the gaps, sanding and painting. I've never done anything like this before. Building U-shaped shelving and drilling holes for dowels is all new to me. It worked very well. I have several Festool tools and this is certainly not the quality & feel of a Festool, nor is it anywhere near the price! I adjusted the tool to my needs and tested it on some scrap pieces of shelving before using it on the actual shelving pieces. I made marks on the pieces so that I could align them on a table before marketing the dowel locations. (Tip: Use a 7mm mechanical pencil. You want as narrow a line as possible.) Based on the tool's user manual, I choose 2.5" from each side and choose the 5mm dowel size for the 3/4" baltic birch plywood I was using; 4 holes on the left U piece and 4 holes on the right U piece, matching 8 hold drilled into the large shelving piece that goes against the back wall. I have a Festool dust extractor and was able to attach the vacuum hose with a hose adapter that I bought and tape (because the adapter was close but not the correct size.) You may be wondering, how was I able to assemble the shelving with the dowels, since the shelving was cut to the length of the side walls. That's a very good question! The trick was to tilt the shelving up to allow enough clearance to have sufficient spacking to slide the pieces together. I did it by myself using scrap pieces of wood to hold the shelving at an angle while I put them together. Definitely not easy, and it took some trial and error! I'm sure it would have been easier if I had help, but I was on a roll and didn't want to wait for my wife to come home. All told, the tool worked great. I think biscuits would have proven a lot easier, but I didn't even know what biscuits were until I started this project! (I'd seen a bag of biscuits at Harbor Freight Tools before, and had no idea what their purpose was.) I hope this helps everyone interested in this tool.

Insane bang for your buck
Unbeatable value. I've had my eye on the festool domino for years but never could justify spending the money. This is a great alternative. Effective, efficient, powerful, and overall well thought out product. I would recommend this for a anyone looking for a solid non biscuit joiner.

Just depends on the budget 🤷♂️
This tool is built well, works well, and worth the money. I will say a Jig would be more time consuming, but just as effective. But I am happy with my purchase 👍

The joints should be better. Joints 6/10
So I did quite a bit of testing with this piece of equipment and found that the results are predictably unpredictable. Unfortunately, even with clamped down alignment, the joints are always be off by at least the 16th. If you’re OK with very rough joints, then you’ll be very good with us. It’s a very flexible and powerful piece of equipment. Personally, I probably have to go back and fix all the joinery, i’m not really sure it has the value for me. There are some adjustments on the equipment, but they don’t seem to align with what you need. After all that said, i’m still weighing the possibility of keeping it. For now, I’ll be getting a return label.

Accurate out of the box
I am not a Domino hater, I just can't justify that high price. I have been using this alternative for over a year. I did get the half inch bits and dowels for larger projects. No complaints at all.

Precise drilling is not its name
Not a great product, I set up precision marks to Match up two pieces of a chair. this tool Will have to re-drill left or right additional Boring holes. Would not consider this for any technical building of chairs, tables, you name it. The plastic lineup plate is not accurate – It is better to take it off, look at the tool marks. Not a happy woodworker .

Rápido, seguro, eficiente y preciso. Por el precio es mucho más de lo que esperaba. El único detalle que veo, es que no encuentro refacción de los usillos por si se desgastan o dañan
