This dresser fits my needs perfectly as a buffet against the entrance wall to my kitchen (see first picture). I moved into this condo in 2020, but the space against the wall right before you enter the kitchen needed something with some storage and a shelf to put things on. I looked at lots of very nice wooden units, but none were suitable because they were too large, too heavy, didn't have enough storage space, or were too expensive, etc. The asking price for the piece I was most interested in before finding this unit was $800!When I saw this unit, I immediately recognized it could suit my needs perfectly, but I was a little skeptical about its quality because except for the metal skeleton, the entire thing is made of fabric. In my experience, photos of items are often delightful, but when you see them up close and in person, they are often sadly lacking. But the price on this unit was good, so I decided to take a chance.And I'm so glad I did!! This dresser (I call it a "buffet" because I'm using it in my kitchen) is gorgeous! I absolutely love the patterns and love the earth tone coloring (my condo walls and much of my decor are earth tones). Yes the drawers are made of fabric, but you would never know it -- they absolutely look like painted wood!! They are also very generously sized (11x12 inches) and they slide in and out very easily. (But be wary of how easily they open -- my cat Graysee [so named because she's all gray, see?] was able to pull one drawer open and and climb in -- see second pic!).I am ESPECIALLY thrilled with how easy this was to put together. I am a petite woman with weak hands due to long-term carpal tunnel syndrome, and while I am good at many things, physically putting things together is NOT one of them! But I was able to easily put this together all by my lonesome in a couple of hours. The instructions are clear and fairly well illustrated -- unlike most of the things I have bought that require "some assembly."This truly was one of my top all-time best buys on Amazon!

My 15 year old dresser finally broke a drawer beyond repair, and with Christmas season upon us, I couldn't afford much to replace it. I found this chest specifically looking for something cheap on Amazon, and the reviews were good enough for me to take a chance on it. Man, am I impressed! Not only is it beautiful (the colors are very vibrant and the wood top looks and feels real), but it is very well made for the price. They even shipped it with hard plastic corners on the wood to protect it from damage. They included everything needed, and there were also extra parts just in case. Putting it together was a breeze - only took me an hour. It is very sturdy on its own, but secured to the wall, it doesn't shift at all when I use it. I'm also shocked at how much the cubbies actually hold - I had a five drawer dresser and it held all of it, and I still have extra space. I'm going to be purchasing another one of these, and the 12 drawer they sell as well, to replace my entire bedroom set. I only wish they had a nightstand!!

This came up as a recommended item & ordinarily I would not be into something like this, but somehow it drew me in. I purchased the 9 drawer unit. I have a darkish red settee & felt it would compliment it well, at the same time as breaking up the monotony of the plain cream walls in our rented apartment.There was no damage to the box but there was ever such a tiny damage to the wood, but it's at the rear & not visible so I let that go without complaining.The instructions could be better. They're too basic so it left me battling as to what way around the pieces go. Nothing is numbered or labeled.There were a couple of extra screws which was nice, nothing was missing so I ended up with extras to put in my spare screw tub! All manufacturers should be doing this IMO.The Allen Key (wrench) is especially awkward. Fortunately I have an electric drill/screwdriver that has Allen Key attachments & if it wasn't for that, this unit would've taken maybe 3 times longer to put together. Took me about 90 minutes in total, 20 of which was trying to make head or tail of the instruction diagrams! The wrench provided felt like it would break at any given moment & you can only turn about 90⁰ each time because it's so awkward.Please take notice when the instructions tell you not to tighten screws until you have a whole section together. I'm fairly experienced in DIY so I do this with everything anyway, but for this unit, you will score yourself some major hassle if you tighten as you go.I would give this 5 stars if the instructions were better, but overall i am very happy with this unit. It's very sturdy, the legs are adjustable. As I mentioned, this kind of patterned furniture wouldn't be to my taste but I'm glad it came up because it looks so nice in my lounge.4* because of the instructions but 10/10 on everything else.For the record, this was delivered by USPS & I had some trouble with that. My mailbox is about 500m from my apt & the app said my item was delivered. It was not. My mailbox is 6x6x12 inches. I had to flag down the USPS guy & ask him to specifically deliver to my door because it was super heavy. He apologised for scanning it as 'delivered' when it wasn't.
