Steer clear
Nice looking bike but looks can be deceiving!! Poorly assembled and the pedal arm fell off on way to work. Will definitely not be purchasing another box bike after this 😤

Decent enough for a budget bike
This mountain bike arrived well packaged in a large box ready for assembly. Inside were all of the components together with a couple of tools (Allen key and multi-wrench) and some instructions. The frame, forks, etc. were all wrapped in cardboard to protect them although there was a scratch on the left front fork. There was also what looked like some black touch-up paint on parts of the handlebars. After a quick read through of the instructions, much of which didn't apply to this bike, I cut all the zip ties holding everything together and started assembling the bike. The whole assembly took about 45 minutes. I have put a couple of bikes together before but am no professional. I think most people that are practical and do some DIY could do this, otherwise it's probably best to get somebody like that to do it for you. After assembly i noticed that the rear disc was rubbing on the pad when I spun the wheel but that would soon wear in. However, when I pulled the rear brake lever it had no effect on the rear wheel, it just carried on spinning. This is where the instructions fall down. There are instructions for rim brakes but none for disc brakes. Luckily I have dealt with disc brakes before and they just needed a bit of adjustment to get them working but for somebody that hasn't had any experience this would be a major issue. It also shows that you should make sure you check the brakes out before riding it. The front brake was fine and worked properly.I then checked the gears and both the front and rear derailleurs needed some adjustment to get them to change gear properly, particularly the front one which was not changing very well at all.Once I had got the brakes and gears sorted I inflated the tyres and set off for a test ride. For a budget bike I was pleasantly surprised,. It rides quite well, the gear changes are not the smoothest but are fine and the brakes stop well. The seat is on the thin side and gets quite uncomfortable after a little while so I'll probably change that. I will also add some mudguards as I'm not keen on getting mud all up my back. The frame is a little on the small side for me (!'m 5ft 10in) but it would suit a teenager or small adult fine.

Great bike for the price already part assembled
The mountain bike arrived well packaged in pristine condition. It comes in one large box partly assembled but still requires some assembly (instructions and tools are included).Assembly took approx 60 minutes without rushing and was very straightforward. There is as with all bikes some small adjustments needed to the brakes due to them being new, the rest was fine.I am 5 foot seven and found the bike to be comfortable in height and easy to ride. The seat is very hard and could do with being changed or wear bike padded pants !For the price I cannot rate any lower than 5 stars. Oh and it looks nice as well.

Decent enough as a basic bike
This is a decent enough, basic bike. For this price you wouldn't expect a high end bike, but for a cheap and cheerful basic run around, this is a decent bikeIt has disk brakes, front suspension and a decent set of gear shifters. The frame is relatively light and the welds look not bad. It is not a high end material frame, and you can tell it is a cheap build, but more than enough for someone who just need a cheap bike.Overall you are getting what you pay for, so don't expect anything high end for downhill usage, but for getting out and keeping fit, this is spot on

As good as you'll find for the price
Excellent entry-level MTB. Great finish and all-round looks. The head set is old-style, but this simplifies the build, which only took about 15 mins. The brakes and gears didn't even need adjusting, which was a big surprise, and the kit on the bike is all pretty good quality.
