Adds a little more (1/2-1") than the 4" claimed so make sure you have enough slack to accept. The mating pipes will seat against the transition radius from the straight pipe to the woven. Overall, good quality and good value.

Well made. Returned as didn't need it

Purchased for 2003 Elantra. Fit over previous flex pipe ends that were welded to original exhaust. Tried band clamps but would not seal enough, ended up welding it on for better seal. Appears to be good quality at installation time, Only time and road salt this winter will show for sure. Saved a ton of money, not going to the muffler shop, if you have the skills for DIY.

I bought this thinking the inside diameter would be at least 2-1/8". Once the pipe goes into mesh, the inner diameter gets restricted down to about 2" inside diameter. The mesh goes inward inside. Gave it 3 stars because of this reason. Looks to be well made. Will have to buy a larger size and reduce it down to make sure I gget my 2-1/8" inside diameter like I need. Packaged well and looks to be stainless mesh, but not so sure about outer pipes being stainless. They look to be aluminized, or mild steel. I would buy again knowing what I know now. Hope this helps someone choose the right part.

I ordered this product on the request from my brother. He does his own mechanical work. He was happy with it & it worked just fine to repair his SUV muffler. He also ordered the clamps that were needed to complete the repair.

My original flex pipe burned out after 13 years, installed this small section of flex pipe instead of the entire new pipe with the plex at a fraction of the cost. How low it will last I wouldn't know, will be getting a new vehicle again in about a year, so I'd imagine it should last at least that long. A good product for a cheap exhaust fix with no complaints.

Fit well. The last one rotted out in a year. This one seems like good quality. Time will tell.
