Quality of this product is Amazing, Works without power that is great we get the power cord which is micro usb but i never used it with just hdmi cables it works fine. The light indicator is the highlight loved it No lag it can detect automatically as well amazing product

It works fine but know that it requires a Micro USB connection to power it to make it work at its peak, otherwise it would work as around HDMI 1.4 or 2.0 as I tried 1440p 120hz on Xbox One X, works only when the Micro USB cable is powering it, otherwise won't work more than 1440p 60hz. Still fine like if you don't have higher refresh rate requirements then no need power source, also the Micro USB cable is provided but not so good quality, doesn't fully insert in. I've not tested 4K or 8K but sure it will work if Micro USB power source is connected, as I've tested cheaper devices with only HDMI ports without this Micro USB power port, they don't work 1440p 120hz, only 1440p 60hz, this means higher bandwidth requires additional power source other than only HDMI Cables.

Works better than expected. Not only can we use the button to manually switch between hdmi source, but whenever power is turned on for one source, it auto switches. I can switch between my S9 Ultra Tab and my Laptop (Asus ROG S17) The only shortcoming is that the power input to the hdmi switcher is Micro USB, which should have been usb C.

For anyone with modern 4K/8K displays and a single high‑end source, this 8K HDMI splitter is a solid and practical upgrade. It keeps the full quality of your signal while giving you the convenience of driving multiple screens from one device.

Awesome product, I used it force google tv streamer to stream at 4k resolution on Epson EF11 1080p projector and it works 😊

This splitter is very versatile. I use it to split my receiver's 4K HDMI signal to multiple devices, including a 4K TV, 4K Avermedia capture card and OREI 4K HDMI over Ethernet extender. Despite what I read on other reviews, this device does not require you have a 8K TV or devices. It works fine with 4K TV's and devices, with all input/output sources. The DIP switches are very handy to force the resolution, sound and color scale you want. If you go to the manufacturer's website, they have a better detailed DIP switch setting chart on the downloadable PDF manual I posted a screen shot of in my review to help others (the one that comes with the paper manual insert is not as descriptive), but you don't really need it. It will auto-detect your EDID tables and figure it out accordingly, although I'm forcing the 1-0-0 4K settings. EXCEPTION: The output signal is a bit weaker then most other splitters I've used. I have a commerical-grade 20ft HDMI 4K rated cable which goes to a AverMedia 4K capture card, the same cable I've been using for 3 years. My capture card will lose the signal up/down every few seconds because of the weaker signal/voltage output connected directly to the OREI splitter. I had to install a USB-C powered 4K HDMI splitter I previously used (which I bought the OREI splitter to replace) as an amplifier to keep the signal live and connected. You can see it in the picture I posted. I tried different DIP switch configurations just to see if that made a difference, but it doesn't. Most people will probably not use long cable runs like this, but if you plan to, just be aware, you may want to upgrade to 8K-rated longer cables which may mitigate needing to amplify longer cable runs. Overall, the device works fantastic with zero lag/latency as far as I can tell. I use it for gaming and streaming and I've had zero issues with it's performance. I highly recommend it!

Tja was soll ich sagen: es macht was es soll und hat es mir ermöglicht zwei Monitore an meinem Laptop im erweiterten desktiopmodus zu nutzen, soweit, so gut. Leider merkt man bei "grafiklastigeren" Dingen schnell die Problematik. Soweit auch so gut, kann man mit leben ABER womit ich nicht leben kann ist der Aufbau. Das relativ dünne Kabel mit dem USB C Anschluss bietet keien stabilität und so kam was kommen musste: die ersten vermeintlichen Kabelbruchprobleme. Das ganze ist nicht nur zu "flexibel, aber gleichzeitig zu kurz" sondern für mein laptop vermutlich ungeeignet, weil der Adapter aufgrund der kürze des Kabelstrangs direkt HINTER dem Laptop liegt mitten in der Warmluftausgabe der Lüfter, die nämlich bei mir hinten und logischerweise NICHT unten sind. Das sorgt mittlerweile für Schwankungen, Displayaussetzer etc pp. Wie gesagt, es macht was es soll, ist aber kontsruktionstechnisch nicht so durchdacht. Das USB Anschlussstück sollte einfach länger sein anstatt die knappe Handbreite.

Excellent quality work seems mostly control works great as well. I wish it was a three to one!

Bought this to use it on the PS3 ( didn’t do much research because it shouldn’t be that complicated) but it DOES not work on it. It goes well with the PS5 and stuff. But had to send it back because for me it was the worng product
