🔔 Sound the Alarm on Safety!
The SKYLINKM-1 Main Console is a versatile indoor siren designed to enhance your SkylinkNet alarm system. It functions as both an additional siren and a main unit for the M-series alert/alarm system, allowing you to connect up to 16 wireless sensors. With easy arm/disarm options via keyfob or keypad, this system ensures your home remains secure and connected.

Great for the price and actually works really good.
I bought this unit as a backup to the Skylink internet hub. If the internet is down then of course the internet Hub won’t work and won’t alert you to possible intruders......So this unit works great as a separate standalone system. I setup to use the same sensors the internet hub uses so no matter what happens, internet goes down, electric grid goes down, malicious code infects the internet hub, etc. We always have an alarm system.Like the other reviews have said the instructions are pretty bad but the unit itself is super easy to figure out even with no instructions. Apparently no one in China has a friend in an English speaking country they can call and say “hey, can you read this manual? Does this sound right?” before mass printing and shipping them out.

Good as a remote siren, but the instructions are wrong
This unit can function as a base station, but I have it configured currently as a remote siren for a SkyLink SK-200 system so that there's an extra alarm in the upstairs. It is compact, seems to work well, and has batteries for a backup - all good things. Oh, and it's plenty loud. I subtracted a star for two reasons:1. False instructions. You will not get the correct beeps and flashes that the instructions tell you when linking it to your SK-200 or SK-250, but follow the procedure and then test it to see if it works.2. As with the AA-433W remote siren that I had with an old SC-100 system, this REMOTE siren does not chirp when the alarm system is armed -- only the primary base station does. But it DOES chirp (twice) when the system is disarmed. Not a dealbreaker, but feedback during both events from all sirens would be a better user experience.Overall though, pretty good add-on to the SkyLink system.

FUll function security system at a very reasonable price.
It is really a fairly full function security system that offers expansion with the addition of optional sensors and smart device control, configuration and notifications via the addition of an optional internet hub. Programming can be a bit difficult as the system does not include a screen and is accomplished by pushing 1 or more buttons for a specified period of time. The instructions also have a number of errors which makes programming more difficult than it needs to be. The only feature which I would really like that the unit doesn't have is the ability to specify a schedule (only alarm of door #1 is opened between X AM and Y PM) but I could achieve this functionality by plugging the base station into a timer but I would have to remove the batteries from the unit which means that it wouldn't work during the rare power outage.

IT WORKS!!! READ my review!
So I’m a LUCKY person who has a dry basement. HOWEVER I have had issues with my condensate pump (the pump that gets rid of water produced by my HVAC unit). I bought this because I’ve had several times the pump failed and I ended up with quite a bit of water in my basement. Guess what THIS THING WORKS!!!! I was woken up at 5am by the alarm. Went into the basement to find the condensate pump failed again and the water was JUST starting to seep onto the floor!!! It saved me!!! Can’t be happier!!!

and thats a good thing. a few 'wishes'
console is actually smaller than it appears in the photo, and thats a good thing.a few 'wishes':1. instead of an external power adapter, put a plug on the back so it could be plugged directy into the wall.2. volume control3. a simple 'beep' would be preferable to the fake doorbell sound

Very effective and loud
Very easy to setup. Works perfectly. Definitely necessary as the original alarm needs to be connected to the router which is in the basement and not loud enough upstairs. This siren is plenty loud.

Does the job wonderfully. Connected to main unit easily
Does the job wonderfully. Connected to main unit easily, which allows me to hide my internet hub in my server rack, so potential thieves cannot find it, and disable it, making it useless. Very loud as well. Would highly recommend.

Stops Working Randomly
When I first installed it as my secondary alarm with the Skylink Hub, I tested it twice and it worked great, it also alarms as expected. But 2 times that I went home that I forgot to disarm my Hub, the Hub alarmed but this secondary alarm did not, on both of those days on different weeks. So it seems unreliable now, defeating its ONLY purpose.
