Works fine for one or two plants.
This is a typical inexpensive aluminum clamp-style work light with a small diameter hood and a standard (round) non-reflective grow-light bulb included. It works fine for one or two plants but does not throw a lot of heat or light. If you want to light more plants or if you want something that generates a little heat (i.e. cactus, flowers or pets), compare it to a clamp-style work-light at your local big-box store and you might spend $5 more for a slightly larger unit that will hold a spotlight-style BR30 bulb. My daughter took one of these to her dorm to keep two plants alive through the winter and they didn't fare very well....but it might have been operator error.

Poorly designed and won't stay up
This lamp is terrible. It is extremely hard to put together. Also, the clamp will not fit on anything very well. I tried to have the lamp above two small glass terrariums. I wanted to have the terrariums in my bathroom where there weren't any windows. The lamp fell and broke both of them, and now there is sand and glass all over my bathroom. I am definitely returning this. I did not even get a chance to turn it on, so I couldn't tell you how good the light is. I can't even use it now because it broke both of the terrariums I wanted to use it for.

Last 2 months
When I received this grow light I noticed the bulb was slightly smaller than a normal bulb, no problem as the cone helped with the lighting needed for my plant. I asked the company about replacement bulbs, they don't carry them. @@ I searched elsewhere and could not find one. Ok, so the bulb lasted 2 months. Now I COULD get another bulb that would be normal size BUT the cone would be too close and the bulb would again burn out. NOT happy with this useless product.

Bought to lamps for my plants. First lamp broke in the first week. Used the second one for a while. So no improvement with my plants. Great as a desk lamp though I’m sure although it does put off a generous amount of heat

Great product
Easy to set up and clamping it on was super easy. I love that it came with a bulb and that it didn't break due to good packaged well. I do wish there was an option for a higher watt bulb but I can't complain at all. Will be ordering another one.

It is good for plants that want minimal light - specifically orchids
I like this light because you can clip it anywhere. It is good especially because you can adjust it to any height. The lamp does not give a lot of light for plants; so, it is beneficial for plants that do not like a lot of light but do still need it. Good for orchids specifically.

Out of multiple units I bought, one broke withing a week (the plastic part holding the metal part broke apart), the other' bulb died within a couple of days as well. However, you can't beat the price - it is the cheapest hands down, but you gotta take a chance that it might be defective.

The product description is misleading. You don't get a bulb. Why would it say 150 watt if there is no bulb. Also, I ordered 2 and 1 came. No thanks
