didn't use on a boat, but works well on any 2000grit sanding. I use 3m perfect-it rubbing compound 1st, then this to take out swirls. Plus, i do not have to wax too, its done! Great!

We live on a boat so purchased this product after a recommendation by a Gel Coat professional that swore by it. Had a few scuffs, of varying depth and length, that I needed to get rid off. This is a “ All in one” product so it’s basically apply on affected area, a little bit goes a long way, use some elbow grease then leave for a while then buff to shine with clean cloth. Quality product from 3m. Only one I have been using and will continue to use.

Good Quality

Easy to use. Shine was adequate. Didn't last as long as I had hoped. After researching articles about gelcoat care, I will use two different products and steps to polish and wax instead of this all-in-one product.

We love this product and have ordered it many times, along with other 3M products in this line (Perfect-it Gelcoat). However, for some reason there isn’t a seal on the inside of the lid, as there are for so many liquid products…. This means that unless the seller tapes the lid shut and/or puts the whole thing in a sturdy plastic bag, and then tapes the bag shut, it can easily leak out during shipment. When I cleaned the lid I noticed that the lid itself was slightly faulty - it didn’t click shut evenly on both sides, but even if it had been a perfect lid, it still needed to be taped down at the very least. Luckily we didn’t loose too much of the product, and it didn’t leak through to the outside of the box, possibly damaging surfaces it comes into contact with. We’ve had this issue before with MANY products we use detailing boats. That’s always a risk when something is being shipped to you - most of the time we’ve received this brand they are taped shut. This instance just demonstrates how important that extra step is.

This works good but it’s not easy for rookies. After doing about half of our 42’ RV, I finally starting getting good results. I recommend a wool buffing head on a good quality professional buffer.

Easy to apply and does a great job. Makes old look new again. We use it on our RV too.

Works wonderfully. I used #3 heave cut in the past, this is great if you stay on top of your gelcoat

Acheté pour la protéger le fini de mon VR. C’est un produit de qualité mais je l’ai trouvé plutôt difficile à utiliser pour obtenir un beau résultat. Il faut absolument suivre les instructions à la lettre !!
