The Vitamin Cure for Allergies: How to Prevent and Treat Allergies Using Safe and

Excellent little book
This short but concise book will inform you on many of the vitamin solutions available to treat allergies. As well as that you'll get some useful tips to minimize allergic reactions (smoking severely increases your allergic reaction as does pollution, so stay away from both during summer if you have hay fever). I personally have been diagnosed with Perennial Rhinitis and have had a skin prick test done in Harley Street. I asked the Doctor how severe my allergies were as the lumps on my arm were quite large, he told me "as bad it gets". I was prescribed Fexofenadine which helped a little but my allergies still significantly affected me and my quality of life. After reading this book, I implemented the strategies which are essentially taking Vitamin C to bowel tolerance (how to do this is described in the book), taking Vitamin D at a high level (4000 IU) and taking omega 3 supplements. Now I don't need to take my fexofenadine anymore for my hay fever or dust allergies and instead of going through a whole packet of tissues during my stroll in the park, I usually only need 1 tissue. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to buy the book and give the cheap, yet effective recommendations in it a go, Spring and Summer need not be a time for dread and anguish anymore.

Useful book
Basically, the book says - take vitamin C. The rest is a fill in. I agree with the idea though.I used to have chronic cough every year that later became almost year-round, I couldn't even work with that horrible coughing. To treat it, I used coltsfoot, which is unfortunately bad for liver and dangerous for children, but I got to the point where I did not care anymore as long as it helped. It did help, my cough completely disappeared in a few weeks I drank it, and my liver seems fine. Now, as soon as I feel that scratchy throat which precedes cough, I take vitamin C, at least 6 grams a day for the first couple of days and then a bit less, until the feeling goes away.I have a skeptical nature and don't believe in anything unless I checked it myself, and I swear by vitamin C now since it works for me and all my family members. Not just cough but any symptoms of a starting cold are cured by vitamin C in large doses. The only side effect is diarrhea, which only happens when you are already cured but still taking a large dose of vit. C. When you are sick, the side effect does not happen no matter how much you take - I guess the body utilizes it all. Even little kids have no problem taking large quantities, no upset stomach. The book got 4 stars because there is not much information in it, mainly just proving his only point. It`s a very useful point, and it is probably needed to be extensively proved to a lot of people, but when I read it, I though that a couple of pages would be sufficient enough for me to get the idea.
