Needed a new Ottoman and this fit the bill. Seems well made and was very easy to assemble. Put it together in about 15 minutes. Storage area is nice to have. The space on the bottom is a little tight.Another 2 inches would have been nice as it is hard to fit a basket but l will pick up a shallow serving tray for the remotes and such.Overall a good buy! Delivered quickly and no damage.

I was skeptical of this ottoman, but after confirming that I would not be charged for return shipping (like at the five other online retailers that sell this), I decided to try it. I wanted an ottoman table that had space underneath - both for storage and for visual space so my living room didn't look clunky. The bottom shelf just rests on the rails, but seems to be fine. If you find it slipping, you could always use a small piece of double-sticky foam tape to hold it down. The mechanism to pen the lid works well; I don't foresee using that a lot, so am not concerned with durability.I splurged on a sofa from Crate & Barrel, but saw no need to spend $1200 on a leather ottoman. This one looks great. I did purchase a nice wood tray for drinks, etc., from Etsy.

I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived that the legs are attached with hinges. This made assembly really easy - just flip the legs into place and insert 6 bolts to keep them there, then slide the lower shelf into place. Also, I used the extra protective cardboard square as a clean surface to work on when flipping the ottoman over to install the legs. Once assembled, it was very sturdy.

The color was a bit darker than I expected, but it looks great! Very happy with my new ottoman!
