This is my 2nd one. I lost the first one between Yellowstone and Mississippi. If you find it, it’s yours! This knife is awesome and is the real deal, it’s not a fake. Perfect size fo EDC and looks and feels great in the hand. Texture of the scales are perfect. Comes razor shape and is very well built. Isn’t the easiest knife to sharpen but does stay sharp after you get it there. Highly recommend

This is the second Para 3 I've bought. I use to be one of those guys that thought spending this kinda money on a pocket knife is crazy. Until I was gifted a Para 2. The quality, feel, action, ergonomics, fit and finish, the fact that they're made here in the US. Completely converted my thoughts on Spyderco. I now own 4 of them and will continue to invest. Personally I think they smoke Benchmade and just about every other maker out there. That's why they consistently out sell every other companies. I can't say this about their knives made outside of the US. I bought a Tenacious and hated it, the quality was not great. Maybe I just had a bad experience. Although I'd say Civivi, Vosteed, Kizer, CJRB smoke any non US Spyderco, sorry it's just how it is. The Para 2 and 3 while not cheap, are just built in a way that ensure confidence. You dont feel like you over paid...(Benchmade)...you feel like you have a good piece of hardware that can be used everyday as a tool. Not to mention the miriad of aftermarket choices to personalize your Spyderco. You just can't go wrong with a Para 2 or 3 or heck any US made Spyderco for that fact. I highly recommend this product, just beware, they're addictive and you'll most likely end up with several.

Fantastic knife! just what I was expected, before I got Spyderco Endura VG10 for my edc,fishing,camping and all kind of stuff working,after 4 years of pleasure use decide to lvl up and make birthday present for myself, ordered Para 3 S45VN, now it’s my 100% companion everywhere. Love it! Got Lynch North West black cerakote titanium clip immediately, definitely a game changer for wearing on pocket.

OK, number one, it's a Spyderco, so you know the quality is going to be there, just like their customer service will be also. The Spyderco Para 3 is just about the perfect size for carrying in your pocket, not too big, not too small. The CPM S45VN blade came in "factory sharp", which means be careful, always. I have 3 of the Para 3 knives with a different blade steel in each, and I do tend to favor this one mainly for the abuse the steel can take. I admit, I am not fond of the camo scales, but with a little YouTube searching you can find ways to change their color. The CPM-S45VN is a step forward from S35VN in corrosion resistance and edge retention, is a little stronger and more corrosion resistant than S30V with similar sharpness retention, and the steel is more corrosion resistant. It is a relatively hard steel, but can be sharpened with nearly any standard sharpening device, which makes it a steel that most anyone that sharpens their own knives doesn't have to go buy something special just for it, saving you money, and in the end, having a working pocket knife that will save you money over time, even with a lot of use, that's just what I want in my pocket.

I have only ever purchased Paramilitary 2's from Spyderco (which I love) but after trying this knife, I must say that it's the absolute perfect next step for me and perhaps anyone else's entry point into Spyderco knives. It's razor-sharp out of the box and both the S45VN blade and G10 camo scales are top notch quality. This knife is a keeper and a mandatory addition to any collection or for EDC. Highly recommended!

Already own three PM2s, great knives. So why would I need the Para 3? It just works. Perfect EDC for those times when PM2 is just a little too large for the carry or the possible bystanders. Superb construction and ergonomics. While I prefer tip down carry, and maybe the clip could be a little smaller, the clip design, size, and even tip-down orientation is NOT a deal breaker in the least. Once deployed and in use, the presence of the clip isn't even noticeable. YMMV, but as usual, a highly recommended Spyderco product, and (unfortunately) another "unavoidable" reason to deplete the wallet.

This is bigger than I expected, but the build quality is fantastic. Coming in a little longer than 7 inches, the Para 3 is the perfect size. Handle fits perfectly in the hand, blade cuts like butter, centered perfect, and opens and closes with ease. Great knife, great brand, easily worth the price.

Great knife, bought it to continue my spyderco collection. Not as good as the paramilitary 2. Also carries larger in the pocket that the knife really is. Deep pocket carry clip suggested.
