I don't know how I got infested with fungus gnats and other small flies, probably something dead under the house. I can't find the source. I tried the unfurling long sticky strips. They caught the inescts alright, but they frequently broke getting them unfurled. So I tried these sticks. They are obviously more expensive, but they are much easier to use. They are very sticky and catch insects well. No mess, no sticky fingers. You can put them back in their box for disposal. As with all these products, keep away from small children and pets, especially cats.

When is a trap not a trap? When it doesn't catch the flies! We have an infestation of these gnatty little insects that are devoted to beer, but when we bait the trap with beer, it catches absolutely zilch. Don't waste your money.

This crap works. Caught fruit flies, the cat and wife. Both wife and cat had to give up their hair to get out of its grip. It's strong. You have to put it by the flies though. Place is where they hang out

The bugs are drawn to it and they are stuck. I live in Florida and had it on a table at first. But the little lizards would get stuck too, probably attracted to the bugs. So then I hang it up! Still working great. I put up a new one since the first one was covered with the gnats and no see ums!
