Relatively easy to use over paint as sealant.
Great item, goes a very long way. Little to no odor, easy to use, no fuss application. Does run, can clump if too much applied at once or applying a second application on surface that hasn't dried. Dries quickly finishes as expected overall.

Yellowish and shiny.
Not a clear finish. After painting a night stand with white chalked paint I applied one coat. It has a yellowish appearance and it is shiny, not matte. Don’t use this product; you will need to paint over it.

Yes it protects
Easy to apply great addition to your wood and metal projects. Odorless and easily covers in one coat. Makes surfaces easier to clean compared to unprotected or protected by a substandard product. Good value for long term use.

Best clear finish I’ve used
This leaves a really nice matte clear coat finish. A little goes a long way. Really great product, easy to use.

Leaves a yellow tint
I had hoped other reviewers just had a bad experience, but I unfortunately found out that it’s true that this product is not clear and will create a yellow tint on white paint. If you’re using a darker color maybe it’s fine but I don’t recommend using this over white.
