Great Customer Service
Received 2 units, they were easy to instal and operate. Installed one unit on a truck, so had to extend both leads but not an issue. I had questions concerning programed routine for the strobe lights and audible sound. Contacted Customer service who was very responsive and knowledgeable. Thank you for your assistance.

Bright LEDs, reduces nesting mice
The media could not be loaded. I have several other units very similar to this and have had success. They emit a very high frequency sound that to me is inaudible. The frequency range of the sound is audible to mice, rats, squirrels and other small animals and ideally it scares them away. This unit also has four bright LEDs on a cable that can be spread out to visually scare away pests. It's designed for under a vehicle hood. When it senses the engine is running it turns off, then starts a few minutes after the vehicle is turned off. It's designed to be connected directly to the battery or to an always on connection. The current draw is low enough that it shouldn't affect a good battery as long as it's started every few days. It's tough to prove technically that these devices really do anything other than flash some LEDs! I can only say that having these around, including some that plug directly into outlets, has significantly lowered the amount of mice in my garage and shed. This unit is in a shed along with another on the other side. They run off of a lawnmower battery and a solar charger as there's no power. I still have a mouse or two sneak in and settle into a corner over the winter, but I have far less than I did without these devices.

White Noise Machine?
I originally tried mint spray designed for engine compartments and the squirrels still chewed holes in my fuse box, the positive battery terminal cover and TWO wire harnesses.I still saw evidence of their visits so I decided to try this unit. The unit was easy enough to install and doesn't seem to use much battery power. It does emit random loud enough, varying tones, screeching sounds and fast flickering LED lights. While the sounds can be heard outside of the vehicle, the noises outside are more subliminal and not disruptive. However, the reason for the one star review is due to the fact that one morning shortly after installing this device and as I was preparing breakfast, I noticed a squirrel jump up into my engine compartment.Armed with the bottle of mint spray and a broom handle, I popped the hood of my engine compartment and saw a squirrel scurry away from the truck. I looked around my engine and low and behold, there was another squirrel laying Right Next to the device - apparently ASLEEP!I smacked it with the bottom of the bottle and it retreated to between the engine and firewall. I poked it with the broom stick and it ran away.I won't bother removing it because it doesn't hurt to have it there and it uses so little battery power.I've tried this device, mint spray and moth balls and the squirrels continue to return.Nothing seems to be working.Sadly and regrettably I'm going to have to resort to more "lethal" means.

90% works
I live in a remote, heavily forested area. We have a huge field mice/squirrel/chipmunk problem.Over the last 4 years they have nested/destroyed wiring in several outside vehicles from a side by side, to a 55hp diesel 4x4 tractor, to a SuperDuty diesel truck.Irish spring small chunks; no help at all.My experiences after buying 5 of these over the last year:Pros: Small. Easy to install. Does seem to keep mice away when its on. Doesn't seem to drain vehicle batteries very fast. Price seems reasonable. Shipping was always prompt, no hassles there.Cons: Doesn't always switch over from running engine to monitoring consistently. This is intermittent, haven't been able to determine root cause so far.Supplied LED's are only a couple feet long. Wish they were longer or offered the option for a longer LED string. They could even use the same connector!

Let’s keep the rats out the car!
I ordered this rodent repeller for my car in hopes to combat my neighborhoods rat problem. This device has to be hardwired in but was fairly easy to install. I’m unsure how well it works but I’ve had no issues thus far!

Blinking lights and piercing sound seemed to disrupt squirrels?
Blunking lights and piercing sound randomly initiate to prevent critters from getting accustomed to sounds and lights. Easy, straightforward install. Does it work? Initially I definitely noticed it caused disruption of roaming critters but I cant say that the initial results have been sustained at the same level. But, at minimum, the random sound start up and light flashing will cause some disruption!

Seems to be working. No unwanted guests.
The media could not be loaded. So far, so good. I wanted something a little bit better than what was already in the engine bay of our Sprinter. The one that was in there was a battery powered, flashing led light. Seems to work and so I left it in place. The new one gets hardwired to the Sprinter and has more lights and emits high frequency tones that annoy pests. Very easy to install. Longest part for me was figuring out where I wanted to put it. I ended up using one of the mounting screws for an hid ballast and attached it next to it. Good spot, out of the way, doesn’t move. Grounded it where the main aux batteries ground to the frame. Used a battery power distribution block that was nearby to tap the power. Once it’s flipped on, works as described. As soon as it detects any movement or vibration, it goes to standby. Should keep unwanted pests from camping out in the engine bay. Recommend.

Simple to install, time will tell
This device was extremely simple to install on our RV. I've heard many horror stories about how rodents/critters can get in the engine compartment and destroy the wiring, etc. I certainly don't have the time nor the money for such a horrific repair like that, so, when I saw this device, I decided to give it a shot. So far, everything is working just like the ad and installation page suggest. If it works as well as it is easy to install, this might just be a fantastic product. After several months, I'll update this review with any further results or information. Enjoy!
