The paint was correct and no cracks.I received this in a package from Amazon with other items in it. The packaging and everything else in it was ok, but the helmet must have been damaged from the seller or the warehouse prior to shipping. It is in a bag, not a box. Was very disappointed when I opened it. We still tried it on. Bought size S for my 9 year old granddaughter and it fits well and will adjust to fit as she grows a bit more. The pads for the palm of the hand didn't fit well. I'll probably add some Velcro because the strap was just a little too long. Looks like a good helmet and pads for her so I reordered hoping to get a good one. If not, I'll be ordering from someone else. Second item that was from China in one order that was damaged...

It is a great set for smaller children- I bought this for my 3 year old for her scooter, she had fun picking out the design, and she wore the helmet and the pads all night (it's winter and we did not go outside) the elbow and knee pads are easy for her to put on and take off, she loves it, and I know she will be safer when she does get to ride her scooter outside

I bought this for my nephew, 8 years old boy. He likes it very much. The blue color stands out much better on the actual Helmet we received. It is good enough for kids use, as now my nephew is biking with these protestives on.
