OPI Nail Polish, Fall Wonders Collection, Infinite Shine Long-Wear Nail Polish, 2nd Step

Arrived the other day and such a lovely colour. I love OPI, goes on well, finishes beautifully. Always complemented on my colours. Good value for money, beautiful colours.

I was a little surprised when I received the bottle, it looks a lot lighter than the product pictures showed. I wasn't sure I needed another dark blue. That changed immediately on application though, as it was a SUPER dark turquoise leaning blue, and thanks to an overabundance of sunshine, have a tan with which it looks absolutely gorgeous.OPI formulas can be hit or miss, this one thankfully is good. In my excitement to try it, I painted as the sun was close to setting, and in the bright light of morning, realized that this could use 2 coats as a few nails had patches where it wasn't fully opaque. Maybe a slightly heavier amount on the brush would cure this, you certainly need a good amount, if you're too sparing it'll drag on your basecoat. Definitely a thicker "stickier" formula.The color is beautiful, I haven't decided which other color(s) to embelish it with yet, and am just enjoying it as it is. So dark as to be almost black, the name is very fitting. I took my pictures without a topcoat, double coat on big toes, single coat on fingers.I can't speak as to the longevity as yet, so far it's wearing as expected. I marked it down a star for the price. OPI just isn't significantly better than some of my other brands which are significantly cheaper, so they really do have to hit a color and formula out of the park for me to even consider them anymore.This one does. Recommended.

This is a good nail polish as I would expect from a brand like OPI. I ordered a 15ml bottle of ‘midnight mantra’ which is from the Fall Wonders collection and is a sleek and stylish solid midnight blue colour.Easy and smooth application, just from one coat I got an even coverage with no streaks at all. Two coats minimum with a fast dry top coat I find gives the best finish. I would normally not pay as much as £15.95 (current price) for a bottle of nail polish unless it was from a high end brand but now I have tried this I can say it is worth it, really lovely quality polish and long lasting too.

Very disappointed with this nail polish.... Requires three coats do get a solid colour, take ages to dry and when you think it is finally dry, literally anything can still leave a mark on it...

It’s a nice colour but nothing like one shown. It’s much deeper and darker and redder than shown.

I was pleased to try this 'OPI Nail Polish | Fall of Wonders Collection | Infinite Shine Long-Wear Nail Polish | 2nd Step'.1. You get an attractive 15ml glass bottle and gold plastic lid with an attached brush inside. You can see the colour of the nail varnish through the clear glass.2. I chose the 'Midnight Mantra' colour and it is a lovely dark navy blue, with a high gloss finish.3. It covered well in one coat - I haven't ever had a dark colour that has done that before. I could have given it a second coat but it really did not need it. This will make it a lot quicker getting ready.4. It applied very easily and dried quickly to a lovely smooth high gloss. I cannot see any light patches of nail through the one coat.5. I didn't bother to put a clear, quick dry top coat on because it was so shiny on its own and I am very pleased with its longevity. A couple of days later and it has not shown much in the way of wear.6. I never thought that in my 60's I would be wearing navy varnish but I really like it and the quality is very good.7. The current price of £15.99 seems a little expensive but I would be willing to pay it, for the quality and fantastic coverage.

I am a fan of OPI nail polishes, I like their brushes and I like the paint formula, they go on smoothly and dry pretty quickly. This one is a lovely midnight blue and looks great on long nails! As with OPI polish it lasts the week too
