I bought this impulse sealer after seeing it recommended in a cookie group and I am so glad I decided to purchase it. This machine has been perfect for heat sealing my cookies to keep them fresh. The seal is strong and consistent, and every bag closed cleanly without gaps. The design is heavy duty and definitely not cheaply made. It has some weight to it, which actually helps keep it stable during use. Three years later it is still going strong with no issues, which speaks to the build quality. The size is ideal for a variety of bag types, and it heats up quickly so I can seal multiple treats efficiently. For anyone who needs a reliable sealer for cookies, treats, crafts, or packaging, this is a great choice. It has proven to be durable, effective, and well worth the purchase. Worth every penny.

Great machine! It’s been 2 years now, and I wanted to come back and share that it’s still working perfectly. I use this impulse sealer to seal cookies and other treats, and in the thousands of uses, all I’ve had to do was change the heat-resistant cloth strip that goes over the heater element.

The sealer worked straight out of the box, without issue. My problem is that it was not clear at all that you had to change out the sealing wire to get it to seal and cut. Once I figured that out, by looking at other listings, I was able to figure out I need to put the round wire in there. Replacing the sealing wire is a pain, but doable. If you aren’t dexterous, good luck. But they are all like this. TIP; be very gentle with the screws holding the wire in. They seem to be floating or something and are very fragile feeling. Overall, the product works great, seals quickly, and does exactly what I need. Tip: start at like heat 3 and see if that works. Make sure to wait at least that full second after the light goes off. It’s important. Not sure why none of the questions are answered correctly indicating it can seal and cut. The instructions might as well have been in Latin, because they made no sense and provided no real use. Just watch the video they have. Pretty simple to use. While some people say they received a unit that needed additional repair to work, mine worked straight out the box. I’d recommend this unit. Hope it lasts 18 months. PS, I gave it 3*’s on easy to use for the reason of being challenging to change the sealing wire.

This is the 3rd sealer I have purchased from this brand in 15 years and is by far the best. They’ve definitely made some changes to these newer models that corrected past issues and I anticipate this will last even longer than the others. Newer thicker 3 prong cord with better attachment to the machine. Seals faster on a lower setting than previous models. Pleased with the changes they have made and the improvement in quality!

Work great, heat up quickly and very sturdy. My mom use to seal tons of her homemade cake and she is very happy with the purchase

Broken easily

Haven't had this very long but it's easy to use and gets the job done! We are using it to seal food-grade kraft paper bags with windows. The adjustable temperature is a good feature and we look forward to trying it with other materials.
