Simple and accurate enough for what it is. I test the accuracy by comparing readings on vinegar vs lemon juice because those are alreasy well established online. These showed they were both about right color wise. Remember to check them right away after getting wet. If you need exact readings then get an expensive meter. For creating a pickle for animal hides it worked great. I successfully preserved a few small game furs in a pickle using this to monitor the PH.

I am so glad to find this PH Test paper on Amazon, couldn't find it in any pharmacy, not in Walgreens not in CVS not even in Walmart. But they are essential to any medicine cabinet as a great little tool to be ahead of problem with a bleater infection, which can happen any time and be very painful. A specially I like that plastic dispenser. I can even care it in my handbag and it will not be effected or damaged. Walmart offered to special order for me but the other less nice kind, and for 50% more the money.

It is pH paper. It comes on a roll, so it doesn't come pre-cut. As long as you're okay with that this is great. It's accurate and comes in a plastic container for protection. I used this product in a hazmat reconnaissance platoon for the military, so I bought it for my personal use. It works well.

I was very satisfied with this product. I use a pair of hemostats to hold a piece of the strip. When I’m done I rinse, dry and put a new strip on the clip for the next day. I also purchased a brand that was individual strips on a plastic stick and another that was like a match book style. Neither of those recent 2 worked as well as the Hydrion. Hopefully this batch will be as good as it was before.

Difficult to use. Strips don't tear easily so you have to fight with the paper strips to get them to tear off. In retrospect, should have gotten a pH meter instead.

Less waste and more convenient than booklets of tear off strips, been using this exact product for years, feed the tape through the side then tape it shut to keep it from coming open in your pocket or when you drop it. Pull up against the protruding tab to easily tear off however much you need while leaving a pigtail for next time. I tape a strip of bright ribbon to it to make it easier to find amid the clutter on my desk or wherever I absentmindedly leave it. For the sake of consistency, I dip an inert toothpick sized piece of plastic into the solution and put barely a drop on the tape, also minimizes waste in the long run.
